The round, romanesque tower is the oldest part of the church. It was also used for defence purposes. (12th century).The other parts were added during the centuries.

Cycling into the city, I could see with my eagle eyes the two guys rappelling the facade of STHLM 01 so I stopped for a tricky panorama that came out okay, I think. It is fifteen photos taken with the Canon 77D using the 60mm lens.

The Brunkeberg Tunnel runs for about 200 meters under a hull in Stockholm, and was opened in 1886 by King OscarII.

he Golden Hall (Swedish: Gyllene Salen) is a banqueting hall in Stockholm City Hall. Measuring 44-metre (144 ft) in height, it received its name when its walls were decorated by mosaics created by the artist Einar Forseth on a proposal by the City Hall architect Ragnar Östberg.[1] The hall is best known as the location of the ball after the annual Nobel Banquet in the City Hall's Blue Hall.[

This is (yes ) an old Danish Castle, because when it was built the southern parts of Sweden (Skåneland) was Danish, it later served as a swedish prison for some time but today it is a museum

I've seen so many inspiring bridge studies here on Flickr lately so of course I too had to give it another try :-) This is my nearest bridge, connecting Sweden with Denmark.

 

And, sometimes there are almost ridiculous coincidences... Yesterday, when I was nearly finished with the processing of this photo, I just happened to stumble upon Denis Olivier's fantastic photostream, and found his much cooler interpretation of the same bridge, from almost the exact same angle, and also in a B&W long exposure style...
