This is a scan of a printed photo from the 60-s. It was shot by my father.
"The Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin on the Nerl River (Russian: Церковь Покрова на Нерли, Tserkov Pokrova na Nerli) is an Orthodox church and a symbol of medieval Russia, built in the mid-12th century.
The church is situated at the confluence of Nerl and Klyazma Rivers in Bogolyubovo, Suzdalsky District, Vladimir Oblast, 13 km north-east of the ancient capital of Vladimir.
The church was commissioned by Andrei Bogolyubsky. According to some sources, it was built to commemorate Andrei's victory over the Bulgars and his son Izyaslav, who was slain in the battle. The exact construction date of the church is unknown.
The monument is built in white stone, and has one dome and four columns in the interior. Its proportions are elongated on purpose to make its outline seem slenderer, although this architectural solution restricts its use for holding services.
For centuries, the memorial church greeted everyone approaching the palace at Bogolyubovo. In spring, the area would be flooded, and the church appeared as if floating on water. The church itself has not been touched by later generations; only the dome's shape has been slightly changed, and porch-galleries were added in the 12th-century, rebuilt in 18th-century and then demolished. The walls are still covered with 12th-century stonecarvings."

Kneisler's White House
A true Bay View landmark, a fact acknowledged by the plaque next to the door. Owned by the Kneisler family from it's opening in 1891 as a Schlitz tavern until the midle 2000's, it is the second oldest operating tavern in Milwaukee. It was rehabbed by it's new owner, and gleefully embraces its history. Oh, and it may just be haunted...

Visitors looking through the central window in the Hall of Mirrors will see the Grande Perspective stretching away towards the horizon from the Water Parterre. This unique east-west perspective originally dates from before the reign of Louis XIV, but it was developed and extended by the gardener André Le Nôtre, who widened the Royal Way and dug the Grand Canal.
In 1661 Louis XIV entrusted André Le Nôtre with the creation and renovation of the gardens of Versailles, which he considered just as important as the Palace. Work on the gardens was started at the same time as the work on the palace and lasted for 40 or so years.
Bay Street Pub
Hidden in plain sight at the north entrance to Bay View, and they like it that way. A former Miller "tied house" from 1905. Little is left from those days except for the wood ceiling. And again, spent the prohibition era as a "soft drink parlor" with a speakeasy in the basement.
