The arch is topped off with an impressive triumphal chariot with the winged statue of Glory holding the laurel wreath. All together there are twenty one laurel wreaths on the monument.
Saddle Arch is located in Upper Muley Twist Canyon in the southern portion of Capitol Reef National Park. Getting to it requires driving about 3 miles on a four wheel drive road from the Burr Trail Road, followed by a hike into the canyon.

Getting weary of all the veterans and parades and festivities of Remembrance Day, we decided to go see some other stuff. Walking to Leicester Sq from Horseguards Parade, we found this arch.

Double Arch is a close-set pair of natural arches, one of the more known features of Arches National Park in Utah,Double Arch was formed differently from most of the arches in Arches National Park. It is what is known as a pothole arch;[3] it formed by water erosion from above rather than more typical erosion from the side. The larger opening has a span of 148 feet (45 m) and a height of 104 feet (32 m). These dimensions give the arch the tallest opening and second longest span in the park.
I shot this panorama in Arches National Park last month just after sunrise. After shooting night photos, I set up on this small ledge with for nearly two hours holding my spot waiting for the sun to pop up and light up the arches.
Bow Tie Arch was a 1.5 mile hike from the Colorado River near Moab, Utah. The runoff pattern in the rock was interesting and a nice break from the red and yellow rock seen everywhere else in the area!

Arches National Park is an amazing place for landscape photography. Here is Turret Arch half an hour before sunset from a different angle. This is a four picture (vertical) panorama.
