I have always loved an inviting arch or doorway. This is a fabricated image. The stone arch is based on a work "Stone Arch - Stock by HBKerr on DeviantArt". I used his free bitmap as a fill for my drawn wall shape and made a few minor alterations to fit the mood. The fence and creeping plants are as shot and the meadow flowers are from another of my own images, HBKerr deserves both visitors and customers. www.google.co.uk/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&...
100 shots stacked with startrails, lightpainted arches, burned and dodged to bring out details, and to add depth-Getty image
View though one of the Double Arch arches.
I took a bunch of more traditional shots and then by the time I got to the arches there was no-one around so I made the most of it. The fisheye came in vey useful for a couple of shots through the arches with this one being my favorite.

Spirit Arch, in Spirit Canyon, is a few miles south of Black Dragon Canyon, and both are elements of the San Rafael Reef.
The arch, high on the cliff to the left, is not conspicuous, but worthy of another look when you are in the canyon. It is actually a double arch, two slender arches, side by side, but not both visible from the same position. Vexing, but no sense getting annoyed with rocks.
I would love to see this when water is spilling over the ledge into the plunge pool at the end of the canyon.
Mesa Arch is one of most photographed arches in southeast Utah. This location is especially popular at sunrise, when groups of photographers often lay in wait for the glow of sunrise on the bottom of the arch.
Mesa Arch, Canyonlands National Park
London Arch is a natural arch in the Port Campbell National Park, Australia. The arch is one of the tourist attractions along the Great Ocean Road near Port Campbell in Victoria. This stack was formed by a gradual process of erosion, and until 1990 formed a complete double-span natural bridge.
The arch closest to the shoreline collapsed unexpectedly on 15 January 1990 leaving two tourists stranded on the outer part until they were rescued by a helicopter. No one was injured in the event. Prior to the collapse, the arch was known as London Bridge because of its similarity to its namesake.
Thanks for taking the time to comment, I really appreciate it :-)
I will always try to reciprocate with a visit back to your stream.

My friend being model for the day, this time just outside the library in Manchester. Bit out of my comfort zone really, pictures of people, and in a city!
An abandoned church, all the windows have been smashed or removed. The only signs of life here now are the masses of empty beer cans and the graffiti on the walls.
Double Arch (my favourite arch) soars 104 feet above my tripod as I shoot straight up into the evening sky.
Happy New Year to my Flickr friends and contacts, and may the Lord bless you in 2016!
Matthias Church, Budapest
Matthias Church is located next to Fisherman's Bastion in the Buda Castle District, a must see destination if travelling to Budapest.
Columns and arches lit at night in the Red Fort complex, New Delhi, India.
Shot hand-held (with arm propped on a ledge) because security took away my tripod at the entrance, since tripods are frequently used for nefarious purposes (eyeroll).
