Daily App Experiment #126: "Failed Portrait" - I was playing around with the #NumenCam app, an app that arranges hundreds of semi-nude-men on top of the current image, when I got this glitch. Halfway through the men walking out, they just stopped, and the camera was still live... it was more interesting than anything else I got out of the app, so it's today's #appsperiment :) #daily_appsperiment
Daily App Experiment #187: "fotobomb" - Playing around with a friends app today. It's called #FaceBomb and uses a stream from your camera to generate a series of rapidly appearing images that fall of the screen. Their are options, like using alternating color filters, etc. Once I saved an image, I ran it through #PictureShow for final processing. #appsperiment #daily_appsperiment #bart

Daily App Experiment 394 "Grain Control" - Messing around with the grain control feature in #snapseed. Saved this photo three different times with varying "grain" levels (in the black and white editor) then used #filterstorm to selectively layer parts of these three images together. #appsperiment #daily_appsperiment
This effect was obtained by using SlitScan on a moving BART train. The phone was held as steady as possible, but the inevitable movement was captured as the frame was scanned.

- When searching through the #appsperiment tags a few days ago, I saw an awesome percolated flower by @danielarb. I dug it so much that I had to hunt down a flower and try it myself. This image was created by using Percolator and Juxtaposer.
Started with a shot from #lomora2 and ran it through #shockmypic to create the line effect. Then opened that in #juxtaposer and selectively layered the puddle from the original image and placed it on top of the line image. #appsperiment #daily_appsperiment

There was an eerie bass sound coming out of these grates, so I sampled it and turned it into a Nanoloop song. Adding it to tomorrow's set.
Daily App Experiment #341 "SpinSpinSpin" - I used #slitscan to record a slitscan image of a wind up toy spinning around, then created a #toonpaint "cartoony" image with very smoothed lines. I then took the original and the toonpaint image and layered them together in #blender's "Plus Lighter" setting. If you look closely, you can sort of see the clown's face mid-spin. #appsperiment #daily_appsperiment
Daily App Experiment #113: "Lunar VII" - This week I'm posting a different #daily_appsperiment with the same source image of the moon that I shot on Friday night. Today's #appsperiment was created with iDroste.
Daily App Experiment 388 "Life, Art, and what's for dinner" - further tweaking on a photo I posted yesterday. Shot in #hipstamatic, converted to black and white with #snapseed, and then run through #autopainterII's pen and ink effect. Then I used #blender to blend parts of the lack and white photo with parts of the autopainter version. Daily App Experiment #118: "Packed In" - I'm flying to Mexico with the @Postagram team in 7 hours. Haven't had a chance to pack yet, but I needed to do some laundry first. I used the #luminancer app to shoot this photo of a washing machine, then processed it in Camera+. #appsperiment #daily_appsperiment
Daily App Experiment 378: "ONE BIT WAY" - playing around with #1bitcam (1-Bit Camera) today. Took a pic with 1bit and layered it with a normal color photo of a one way sign using #blender's "screen" filter. #appsperiment #daily_appsperiment

Daily App Experiment #346 "Ampersands in the Sand" - This started off as one single image that I flipped and rotated 4 different ways, then assembled together using #diptic. Then I used #touchretouch on various parts of the image to make it look less like a perfectly symmetrical image. This helps really make the image more interesting and less flat. #appsperiment #daily_appsperiment.

Daily App Experiment #215: "On the Marque" - Started with a #Hipstamatic shot then used the Shuchu Sen app to add the dark lines from the edges. Then used #interlacer to merge the original and the shaded versions together. #daily_appsperiment #appsperiment
Poppies from the Bellagio Garden captured with ProCamera. Run through Wordfoto with a dot as the word at two different settings to make a version with fine dots and one that was more course. Blended the two versions in Image Blender. Made a third version with medium sized dots and a bit brighter colors and blended that into the first result.
Daily App Experiment #313 "At The Rink" found myself at Redwood Skate, so I thought I'd tweak out an #appsperiment. I shot this with Camera, then imported it into #wordfoto and created an image using "the rink" as my words. Then I created another version using "@" as my word. I then used #filterstorm to blend the areas from different images together. #daily_appsperiment
