shot with #lomora2 an run through #shockmypic. I used #filterstorm to layer the original shadow back on top of the shocked version. #appsperiment #daily_appsperiment
Daily App Experiment #341 "S.S.B." - Started with a faraway shot of a blimp flying by Sutro Tower in the sunset, which I cropped and ran through #NIRColor, for an infrared-ish effect. I then rant the image through #picgrunger. #appsperiment #daily_apsperiment
Tree captured in Liquid Lens. Run through WordFoto with slashes for the word and then Decim8. Half of the result cropped and flipped to get a mirror image and then put into PolyMagic to compose the new mirrored image.
Daily App Experiment #340 "Nowhere Left To Go" - Shot with the regular camera app. Cropped then run through #noir to create a black and white, which I then ran through #100cameras to add the moody colors. Then run through "felt tip" in #autopainterII. I then used #blender to get the details of the black and white, with the colors & textures of the AutoPainter piece. #appsperiment #daily_appsperiment
Daily App Experiment #278- "B4LL00NS" - I shot of some green balloons on the street, that I ran through #tiler to split into 4 separate tiles, then I layered each of those 4 images together in #interlacer. #appsperiment #daily_appsperiment
Daily App Experiment #275: "Sphwee Klee" - last week I was out at the SF Weekly Web Awards were I got this awesome award for "Best Instagram Account". I was totally stoked, so I decided to work the award into a #daily_appsperiment by taking photos of it being held in different places throughout San Francisco and then using #diptic to arrange those different pics together. In order to get my shots lined up, I used the camera overlay feature in #interlacer. #appsperiment
Daily App Experiment 379: "1 Bit" - while ranting about #1bitcamera's small image sizes (320X480), I saw a comment by @shalaco saying small images would work well with panorama apps like #autostitch. So I took 16 pics with 1-bit Camera and autostitched theme together. Thanks again for the tip, Shalaco. #appsperiment #daily_appsperiment
Daily App Experiment #160 "Dub Mo" - A shot of the Manhattan Bridge as scene from near the Etsy offices. In Camera+ I created two versions of this image, a lightened version in red and a darkened version in cyan. I took these red and cyan versions and merged them in #TrueHDR. This is a cool way to see how HDR grabs certain elements of each photo. #appsperiment #daily_appsperiment
Daily App Experiment #258 "Shadow Tracer" a shot of my shadow, run through #stripecam a couple of times, then I layered those different versions through #interlacer. #appsperimet #daily_appsperiment

Daily App Experiment 380: "wubstep" - further experimentation with #1bitcamera. Wanted to see what happens when running a 1-bit cam image through #anticrop. Might keep messing with 1-bit cam for the rest of the week. #appsperiment #daily_appsperiment
Daily App Experiment 392: "Poplock" - experimenting with popping an external flash while taking a photo. I shot this with #645PRO and tried to time the flash at exactly the same time, but it actually went off mid photo (hence the dark on the left). Then edited in #snapseed. #daily_appsperiment #appsperiment
Daily App Experiment #119 "8 Bit Glam" - playing around with #8BitPocketCam. A neat app that has all sorts of flip, mirror, and sequenced effects. Unfortunately it doesn't let you add effects to existing photos though. #daily_appsperiment #appsperiment
Daily App Experiment #309 "Mayhem" - You can get some neat effects by
layering three similar, but not identical, images with #DXP's
"difference" effect. I took this photo of Mark, owner of Dr. Teeth,
and ran it through #noir 3 different times. Each time I moved the
vignetting and changed the overall hue of each image. When I layered
two of these images with "difference" I got an image that looked like
a negative, but adding the third Noir image resulted in something that
looked like the original, but with the three distinct color
differences emphasized. #appsperiment #daily_appsperiment
Daily App Experiment #222: "Text2Appsperiment" - I used the #text2image app to create a cool yellow and black image out of the word " #appsperiment ". Then I used #TinyPlanets to create the circular image above. #daily_appsperiment
Daily App Experiment 381: "Glitch City" - messing around with #1bitcamera, #anticrop, & #decim8. Using #blender to layer them together. #appsperiment #daily_appsperiment
Daily App Experiment #298 "Cut and Paste" - Wanted to play around with the shallow the #biglens app some more because I'm really starting to click with it. For today's #appsperiment, I took a #hipstamatic shot and used Big Lens's triangular bokeh effect t
Daily App Experiment 384 "Window or Aisle" - Shot from one of our work areas in the @postagram office. I used #lomora2 (sort of a Hipstamatic camera app) to take 9 photos, then stitched them all together using #autostitch. #daily_appsperiment #appsperiment
Daily App Experiment #233: "Non Plussed" - I've been using Google+ a bit lately, but my account was suspended today because I use "Doctor Popular" ad my handle. So all day I kept checking to see if it was back up. It's still down, but I took a few screen shots throughout the day and ran them through #newsflash before merging them together in #DXP. #appsperiment #daily_appsperiment
Shot on my iPhone using the SynthCam app, which takes multiple pictures and overlays them into a single image. Usually intended for longer shots, I intentional caught a short burst of two birds flying, just to see what the image would look like.
Daily App Experiment 404: "braces" - a shot taken with #PrismScope. An app that recreates kaleidoscope effects with some nice vignetting and distortion. Did some extra tweaking in #snapseed. #appsperiment #daily_appsperiment
