Match played at Truro College, Tregye, some 2 hours South-West of Exeter.

Muddy, windy and wet conditions proved a challenge for both sides, but there was no shortage of application. Clearly, both sides came for a win, and a fascinating encounter ensued.

Final score - Exeter Chiefs U18 19-14 Bath Rugby U18

A few less shots than I wanted, but the conditions were also a challenge behind the lens. Sorry if I missed anyone out...

Match Report from Bath Rugby:

Bath Rugby U18 were edged out 19-14 by a strong Exeter Chiefs U18 outfit on Saturday.

In wet and muddy conditions at Truro College, it was the hosts got the first points on the board with Alfie Petch scoring after just three minutes. Olly Toomey added the extras to give Exeter an early seven-point lead. 7-0

Four minutes later, Bath hit back through the Tom de Glanville, whose searing line break saw the fly-half cross the whitewash. The talismanic playmaker converted his own try to level the scores. 7-7

The game remained all-square heading into the interval, with all to play for going into the second 40 minutes.

Half-time – Exeter Chiefs U18 7-7 Bath Rugby U18

The Chiefs found themselves back in the lead 11 minutes into the second-half, and the early pressure told as replacement prop Elliot Salt put his side back in front. 14-7

Just like the first half, Bath restored order with Miles Gilbert continuing his prolific run of form. The centre split the Chiefs defence and crossed the line to notch his fifth try in three games. 14-14

With the game heading into the last 20 minutes, it was Exeter who secured the match-winning score. Number eight Rus Tuima effort proved to be the difference, but the visitors will take a lot of positives from the fixture moving forwards.

Academy Pathway Coach, Ryan Davis, said: “It was collectively one of the best performances of the year, and it showed how far we have come in the last few games.

“For 60-70 minutes, Bath dominated the game, and our ability to move the ball in poor playing conditions was a particular highlight.”

Still waiting for Ford to approve your application to buy a new 2017 GT? Maybe having a little extra time to contemplate isn't such a bad thing. Ford just added a new special edition to the GT configurator, and it'll make the scalps of 1960s racing buffs tingle with glee. Gaze upon the 2017 Ford GT '66 Heritage Edition.

The '66 Heritage Edition wears a livery familiar to any Ford racing fan. It's the silver-on-black color scheme made famous by the GT40 MkII driven by Bruce McLaren and Chris Amon, the one that took first place in Ford's historic 1-2-3 sweep of the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Painted Shadow Black in either gloss or matte finish, the '66 Heritage Edition wears silver stripes and Frozen White #2 gumballs on the hood and doors. The cars feature exposed carbon fiber details throughout, and satin gold wheels echoing those on the original racer.

Inside, the carbon fiber seats, headliner, dashboard and steering wheel wear ebony leather, with gold detailing on the instrument panel, shift paddles, and seats. The seatbelts are Ford Performance blue, and #2 door graphics and a numbered plaque round out the details.

Mechanical details on the '66 Heritage Edition are unchanged from those of the stock GT—meaning an EcoBoost turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 cranking out 600-plus horsepower. It's the same powerplant, and carbon-fiber construction, as the Ford racers that just clinched victory at the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The '66 Heritage Edition will appear on the Ford GT configurator later today. If you've got roughly half a million dollars to spend on a commemorative-edition Ford supercar, here's how you can get in line to buy one.

Heatersare typically mounted along the perimeter of the space when applicable. Door areas are stacked with extra units, or tube heater burner boxes are located by doors to provide extra heat. Care is taken to avoid violating the published clearances to combustibles with doors in the open position and/or lifts (with cars on them) in the up position. Common applications also utilize tubes located between lift rows (center of the building) or along side a wall with the heat shined inward. Outside combustion air is highly recommended. Lastly, do not place any heater inside of a paint booth

Club membership application form included as part of a full-page advertisement in the Buster children's comic.

The Airfix Modellers Club was launched in May 1974 by Fleetway Publications in conjunction with the Airfix Company. The club ran from May 1974 to March 1981 and was promoted through Fleetway's comic titles such as Valiant, Lion, Battle Picture Weekly and Buster ( www.bustercomic.co.uk/features.html ). By the end of the club's lifetime, it achieved a cumulative membership of over 150,000.

The club heavily promoted new Airfix products through the comics by advertisements and competitions for club members and for those who remember the adverts which featured Dick Emery, who was the club's president. Every new member received their membership pack comprising of a certificate, voucher stamps for Airfix kits, sticker, membership card and the club badge.

Airfix is a British company founded by Nicholas Kove (1891-1958) in 1939 and famous for their scale plastic model kits. In the late 1940’s the company began to experiment with the mass production of scale self-assembly plastic (polystyrene) kits and in 1952 launched their first mass produced kit of the Golden Hind ship. It was an immediate success and within a year Airfix followed with the release of the Spitfire aircraft. Their first retail outlet was Woolworth stores and this in no small way contributed to Airfix’s success. The plastic scale model kit flourished during it’s peak during the 1960’s and 1970’s but the hobby went into decline during the 1980’s and the Airfix company too until they became bankrupt. However, such was the fame of the Airfix brand-name that the company was bought by Hornby Hobbies Lid in 2006 and so the Airfix name continues on.

7:00PM - Get Yourself Kinect-ed! - Greg Levenhagen, Skyline Technologies

Abstract:

Kinect development used to mean hacking without any support, but now that the Kinect SDK, Kinect for Windows hardware and commercial support for non-XBOX 360 applications has been released, the full power of the Kinect is unleashed. Come see how to start developing with the Kinect, using its hardware features and what the Kinect SDK provides.

Water, Water Everywhere?

Helping IAEA Member States with Water Resources and Water Security

Water security – its availability, quality, management and protection – has become a critical issue in human development and environmental and economic sustainability, particularly in light of global population growth. Sustainable Development Goal #6 includes access to safe water for everyone by 2030. Statistics from the Global Water Institute, however, suggest that 700 million people worldwide could be displaced by intense water scarcity by 2030.

The outreach event

Water, Water Everywhere?

Helping IAEA Member States with Water Resources and Water Security

will discuss the various ways nuclear science and technology can help advance water management – improving water availability, optimising efficiency of water use, treating wastewater in an environment- friendly way and monitoring marine pollution.
