Charrière has visited places with a special drone, such as open pit mines, dilapidated cooling towers and oil platforms and filmed them from above (but lets the video run backwards), at night, while from below fireworks are launched in a pyrotechnic apocalypse that the drone often just misses only, miraculously not shot down, nightmare-like situations of pure aesthetics with interspersed flashes of moths and fern images ... with enormous acoustic roar it is again about the (un-)controlled burning of coal, oil and gas in the titular video "Controlled Burn" ...

Charrière hat mit einer Spezialdrohne Orte aufgesucht, wie Tagebaugruben, verfallene Kühltürme und Ölplattformen und sie aus der Luft, bei Nacht gefilmt, während von unten Feuerwerkskörper in einer pyrotechnischen Apokalypse abgeschossen werden, die die Drohne oft nur knapp verfehlen, die nur, wie durch ein Wunder, nicht abgschossen wird, alptraumähnliche Situationen von purer Ästhetik mit eingestreuten Blitzen von Motten und Farnbildern, die rückwärts laufen ... bei einem enormen akustischen Getöse geht es wieder um die (un-)kontrollierte Verbrennung von Kohle, Öl und Gas im titelgebenden Video "Controlled Burn" ...
Lieber Paul, die Wirklichkeit dort ist noch viel dunkler, Fotos mit 12800 - 25600 ISO werden noch im Nachhinein gepuscht, man kämpft mit dem Rauschen ... ;-) ...

Baptisterium der Basilica cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta – „Kathedral-Basilika Mariä Himmelfahrt“ Padua
Sagenhafter Freskenzyklus, über 100 Bibelszenen zur Schöpfung und Apokalypse, die der Florentiner Maler Giusto de Menaboui von 1375-1378 schuf.
Die Menabuoi-Fresken, einer der bedeutendsten und besterhaltenen Gemäldezyklen des 14. Jahrhunderts, wurden unter der Signoria der Carraresi von Francesco I. da Carrara und seiner Frau Fina Buzzaccarini in Auftrag gegeben.
Die über hundert Bildfelder bedecken sämtliche Wandflächen und die Kuppel. Illustriert sind Szenen aus dem Evangelium, das erste und das letzte Buch der Bibel sowie das Leben Johannes des Täufers, des Patrons aller Baptisterien. Das Kuppelfresko zeigt Christus als Pantokrator, umringt von den Scharen der Engel und Vollendeten.
Das Baptisterium besteht aus einem würfelförmigen Unterbau und einer aufgesetzten Rotunde mit Flachkuppel. Nach Osten, zum Domplatz, weist die flach geschlossene Apsis, die ihrerseits eine kleine Kuppel trägt. Mehrere Reihen von Bogenfriesen mit Lisenen gliedern die Wandflächen. Es steht auf einem Vorgängerbau des 4. Jahrhunderts.

Baptistery of the Basilica cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta - "Cathedral-Basilica of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary" Padua
Legendary cycle of frescoes, over 100 biblical scenes of the Creation and the Apocalypse, created by the Florentine painter Giusto de Menaboui from 1375-1378.
The Menabuoi frescoes, one of the most important and best-preserved painting cycles of the 14th century, were commissioned by Francesco I da Carrara and his wife Fina Buzzaccarini under the Signoria of the Carraresi.
The more than one hundred panels cover all the wall surfaces and the dome. They illustrate scenes from the Gospel, the first and last books of the Bible and the life of John the Baptist, the patron saint of all baptisteries. The dome fresco depicts Christ as Pantocrator, surrounded by the hosts of angels and the perfected.
The baptistery consists of a cube-shaped substructure and an attached rotunda with a flat dome. The flat, closed apse, which in turn supports a small dome, faces east towards the cathedral square. Several rows of arched friezes with pilaster strips structure the wall surfaces. It stands on a predecessor building from the 4th century.

Plus ancienne église de Grand-Bâle datant d'au moins avant le XIIe siècle, le tremblement de terre, comme partout, a bien secoué l'édifice et la réforme lui a fait changé d'affiliation. Elle fut fortement remaniée au XIXe siècle, ils ont par exemple supprimé un grand jubé de pierre pour une estrade. Cela fit néanmoins gagné en popularité puisque de nombreux concerts y sont organisés dès lors.

Commissioned at the end of the 14th century by Louis I, Duke of Anjou, 140 m long tapestry in wool with scenes from the Bible with originally 74 sequences of images, created in 7 years in Paris. (according to "Val de Loire")
