"A group of survivors work to build a new home under the remains of the Lionsgate Bridge".
Inspired by the "LoTeks HQ" from the movie Johnny Mnemonic.
Entry for Picking up the Pieces Apocalego Contest.
Entry Date: August 10, 2176.
I remember back when I was young and my parents would tell me fanciful stories about the apocalypse to scare me. I would spend hours playing video games that placed me in post apocalyptic worlds and I had to "learn" how to survive, as if the designers even knew what life after the apocalypse would be like. Upon looking back I realize how ignorant much of my generation was in using our resources wisely. The majority of us grew up getting everything we wanted and never thought we would have to learn to survive on our own. Most people don't remember how the war started, all we remember is when the moon stopped and our world became tidally locked. Then there was the period of mass confusion, people fleeing the side of our world that would soon be covered in ice and trying to find room on the side that would slowly be burned to death. In many ways the countless who perished had it easy, they would not have to go through the wars and death that took place in the immediate aftermath of the Great Shift. Now the earths population is just a fraction of what it once was. The majority of the population lives in the small "Comfort" zone in between the desert and eternal ice. There existence is a pitiful shadow of what they once had, enslaved to a few warlords they must work endlessly to make enough food to live. Then there are the few people like me. Whether we were forced to leave the "Comfort" zone or left on our own free will our lives are the same: Survive.
For the Nov BBC contest on the Brickarms Forums.
I knew as soon as it was announced that this months theme would be sand that I was going to build an apocalypse scene (apocalypse and sand go together like peanut butter and jelly). I also knew that there would be a ton of other apocalypse scenes so I had to figure out a way to make mine unique. My solution was Forced Perspective. I also decided to find a new reason why the world would turn into a barren wasteland and I decided to use the world becoming tidally locked.

The Greater Arms Association has taken advantage of the apocalypse. Those are are not with the GAA have been enslaved and taken prisoner. We are the Resistance. We are some of the last free humans, fighting with everything we've got. This is our Outpost, somewhere in Northern Russia. We realize nothing will ever be the same. Never again...
This is my BrickArms December BBC Entry. The link to it on the BAF with more views is here. I hope everyone enjoys it! View in all sizes for the best effect and to see all the details!
Where having an easy access escape vehicle can be the difference between life and death.
Honestly, the pictures do this thing no justice whatsoever, so I took a lot of them.
:P
Go check out the diorama with the top removed.

For the Op. Meltdown contest.
My newest build, just a quick vignette mainly to show off the wall technique I used for the dark red wall. I haven't seen it used like this before, and I thought it was pretty cool because it allows for walls to be made in different colors and be variable in their bend and lengths to some extent, making it quite easy to implement into different areas. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy this one, it was nice to build some more apoc again! :D
This will be displayed at Bricks Cascade 2019, along with some of my other stuff. Make sure to let me know if you'll be there!
Detail pictures available here, and a video of the MOC can be watched here.
Just thought I'd throw out a couple of new figures to prove I'm not dead, yet.
These guys are part of the apawk faction I've been working on for some time now. I still have another eleven figures, plus however many I make before the Faction Contest ends. :p

I love this picture. The stubble from under the helmet is perfect. And the helmet is dented and scratched up. Oh yeah I think this is one of my best yet.
How's this Chef? I think I might make it simpler, and a little more sturdy so we can make a bunch. But in all honesty, I think we should do just figs.
Cheffy builds an actual vignette!
Yes, this is still a work in progress. I should be able to finish it up soon though. The building's layout is inspired by diegoboy here on Flickr. Also, please read the notes :p
Comments, criticism? I'd like to make this awesome ; )
I'm also going to add that I really need brown chainlinks (pictured here), trans-clear pieces, and a few minifig parts. FM me for more details.
Thanks!

Hey guys,
Here's a Heavy Poseidon Industries soldier executing two resistance members. I hope you all like it. Please check it out in all sizes :)
Anyways, I'm super sorry that I haven't been very active lately. I've had a crapload of homework, as well as a lot of other commitments that took away all of my free time. I'll have some time this weekend though, so stay tuned! ; )

Many villages in Northern Europe have become havens for people of all nationalities. After the Nuclear Holocaust, when most of Asia, western Europe, and America were gone, People moved north into what was left of Russia, Ukraine, and Scandinavia. This is how the small village of Osk became one of the most hotly contested grounds in Northern Europe.
More on Brickshelf (which was literally modded 1 minute after I finished uploading!)
Hello guys! c: This is my new Rebuilding Society fig, and I think it's maybe my best fig so far... It's inspired by few great customizers and photographers :)
I want to hear your opinion: the fig overall, custom parts, photography, etc. Y/N?
Thank for your time! ;)
Hey, more Apocalego!

And It's very hard to get a good picture of at any angle.
During the pre-apocalypse, when things first start going down-hill, normal security forces become virtually useless. As the world takes a turn for the worst, the civvies start taking drastic measures to survive.
High power dictators and leaders need a means of protection incase a riot or uprising takes place. Normal security forces are no longer capable of withholding these crazed civilians, that's where these guys come in...
Ghost is the close quarters expert. He generally stays directly in contact with the target, and ensures no one gets near enough to cause any harm.
Alex is the assault specialist. He stays within shooting distance of Ghost, and generally is the first on the field if a riot needs suppressing.
Robert is the team sniper. He usually positions himself high enough to survey all of the target zone. He is also sufficiently trained for close quarters fire-fight situations.

If you haven't noticed, this is my first post in quite some time. School has been pretty crazy, and I haven't had much time for building/uploading. I do have multiple hardsuits and figures to upload though, so I'm not dead yet. &^D
Yes, they are inspired by Tito.

I've been expanding my collection of apocalego figures, as you can see. I'm out of raw armor parts though at the moment, so It'll be a while before there are any more of these guys.
Jasbrick and FamilyBricks inspired, along with a little Fallout thrown in. ;D

Chef, you get the armor and knife on the left-most figure, and the one with the decals on the shoulder armor. Plus the other items we already talked about. :]

Do you think it's alright that I put this in the ApocaLego group, since it's just a cleaned up version of the original?

Here's the story:
A small band of mercanary survivors defend a broken down diner. They must defend the computer on the 3rd story, which has survived rather suprisingly. Containing important data that if used wrongly, could eliminate the rest of the survivors off the face of the seemingly destroyed world, this computer has been sought out by a secret organization. They've sent out their tank to capture it. The small band of survivors have a makeshift, yet effective plan. While one part of the crew distracts the tank, an explosive expert will shoot his bazooka to hit the tank from it's top, hopefully damaging it's turret.

Old and new, and some right in-between . Been building lately actually, I don't really play video games too much anymore and the things that kept me busy all this time is pretty much gone now, so I find myself with a lot of free time, and with no distracting thoughts just sitting down on my desk all day sorting lego and building has been very pleasant and relaxing, I'm enjoying things. it's nice.
Still trying really hard to get used to this layout, to be honest, no matter how you look at it is horrible. I keep finding more things that bug me, it's hard to keep track of my recent activity on the front page, and I can no longer open the format help on the same screen, which is quite annoying. But it's one of those things like Call Of Duty, no matter how many problems you point out and no matter how easy you could fix something, at the end of the day the people in charge aren't going to lift a finger.
Despite all this I am forcing myself to get used to this, it's not easy. Just now I had to go so much back-and-forth to edit tags, add things to groups etc. but I've had worse, but it's not fun when your favorite website gets all these changes like that.
The only good thing that's come out if this is the 200+ photo limit, all old photos has actually been "revived" now and I've taken the liberty to add old photos to sets etc. And I have to say, some of the old custom minifigs I've made, let's just say I'm not too proud of what I did back then.
Seriously I could write all day I should probably go on my blog or something, weather is just so nice right now in Norway.
12 of these are going to the contributors of the Apocalego collab at Brickfair 2012.
Yes, this means these won't be for sale.
Yes, this means only those contributors will get one
The "TOP SECRET" items will be revealed at the show, and then online here.

A couple rents a camper for their honeymoon and heads into the wild. Two weeks later, they turn on the radio for some music but can't find any station on the air. Driving into the nearest town, they find it deserted.
Two years later, they're still on the road, having scavenged armor and weapons to survive against the hordes of undead (and ruthless fellow survivors) they eventually encounter.
A straight-forward mod of the new 7639 Camper.
