The sloped and pointed front was the major challenge in this build and it took a few revisions to get to this point. The flowers behind the window are based on Mr. Zumbi's minifig scale version.
The baddest beast in the desert.
This heavy-weight tow truck gone bad is the ultimate apocalypse machine
For the Op. Meltdown contest.
I just received my prizes from the Fallen Earth contest, and I have to say, I'm in love. ♥
The Kar98 is beautiful, and the painting/decal on the helmet is great! I also wasn't expecting the big certificate, so that was super cool.
I couldn't get the Kar back into the sheath, so I just added a machete. :3
I wanted to have some fun with this build, as Crimson Wolf's desert haven had all sorts of odd bits and pieces that survivors could use, I decided to add lots of pieces of equipment and storage crates wherever possible. The Rock is dotted with several "weapons bins" in case of unwanted visitors.....
The VW Camper van type thing is also inspired by the one on Crimson Wolf's Haven, I just had to have one for this.
After a months work and a Bricklink order later, I present to you, The Trinity Apartment Blocks!
Encompassing pretty much my whole collection of Lt. Bley bricks and Trans green tiles, I'd figure that at least 60+ hours went into this
And honestly, I think it's probably my best work yet in the Apocalego genre.
I'd appreciate it if you guys checked out the set for more pictures and views.
Post-Apocalyptic Survival Outpost
Located off the Texas Coast
I have always wanted to build a post-apocalyptic diorama but I didn't want to recreate the usual dio of dilapidated structures and cities in ruins.
In almost every apocalyptic scenario, the cities usually are the first place survivors head due to large amounts of supplies, weapons, non-perishable food, and the possibility of finding other survivors. However, urban areas are usually hit the hardest in any apocalypse. Large amounts of destruction, lack of electricity, presence of outlaw gangs, and other dangers await survivors that hope to find shelter in the metropolis.
With this in mind, where would you turn to find sustainable safety and security for a group of survivors? The county side? Rural towns? The coast?
A while back, I was out fishing near some gas and oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. I thought to myself, "why not build a survival outpost on rig a mile off the coast?"
__________________________________________________________________________
Offshore structures can provide all of the 5 resources required to survive.
Water - A basic desalinization device along with large amounts of coastal rainfall would provide all the fresh water required
Food - Sea life of all kinds can be acquired near offshore rigs. The structure creates cooler water with shade from the sun and the underwater structure acts as a natural reef which attracts bait and then predators. Crustaceans and shellfish can be collected from the surrounding waters. The tropical climate makes for great greenhouse conditions.
Shelter - A roof and walls offer a place to keep supplies dry and a refuge from the elements.
Protection - Being offshore, the risk of attack is reduced. Survivors are better able to detect possible threats and react accordingly. The near proximity to the shore also makes trips to the mainland feasible. And of course, lots of guns.
Energy - With an almost infinite supply of natural gas and wind, you could power almost anything using natural gas engine conversions and wind generators.
John: Oh, hey, look, there is a house!
Carrick: Yeah. I hope it is the house we are searching for. I'm tired of walking!
/After a few minutes of walking/
John: Yes, this is our house. Let's stop for a minute!
Carrick: Good idea!
*Klack*
Carrick: What are you doing?
John: Loading my weapons. Safety first...
*Klack*
Carrick: You are right!
/.../
John: Wait a moment... Do you have a binocular?
Carrick: Yeah, take it.
John: Uhh... That is bad... Five, no, wait, SIX terrorists. Oh, wait, one of them is a hostage!
Carrick: Dang! Why do we get all the hard jobs? I wish I could cook a soup for our man in the bunker.. ;)
John: Stop! Someone's coming near us... Get ready!
*Guard shouts*
Hey, put down your weapons! We are friends!
John: How can we know?
Guard: You see this house? Right. It is the house of Mr Bronson, he is a billionaire. We wanted to get into his house after this apocalypse, but there were terrorists! And they catched Kyle...
Carrick: Uh.. So?
Mr Bronson: We organisized weapons. Let's take our home back!
Carrick: Great plan. Any other ideas?
Guard: Of course! You two are going in front of this house, I will go by the back. I know a little path and I will climb up the house! Mr Bronson will stay here. ok?
John: Ok!
Mr Bronson: No. I will fight with you. I bought a weapon, so let me liberate Kyle!
Carrick: So this is clear. Everyone; Let's go!
*PAM*
*Uahh* /Terrorist crashs into a wall/
*Pew*
John: Shit! Sharpshooter, watch out!
*Pew* *Klickn*
Carrick: Move forward! I will save your back!
*PAM*
John: Nice shot!
*Ratattat*
Guard: Got him!
Sharp Shooter: Hue?
*Rattat*
*Peng*
Carrick: He is escaping!
John: Is too far away...
*PANG*
John: LET HIM GO!
Mr Bronson: Where is Kyle?
*Here*
Kyle: You saved my live! Thanks! But I want revenge. May I fight with you?
John: Sure. You are welcome!
Mr Bronson: Wait, what? You are my guard!
Kyle: Sorry, not longer. I am in their guilt. And I want to fight against them! But maybe you could help us?
Mr Bronson: Maybe. But look at all this weapons: I think your mission is completed!

For Apoc LRPG.
It is a nice build, I think. In full, there is a street at the beginning, the picture will be uploaded by ThePupnu.
(It shows the first fallen terorrist and Mr Bronson with Carrick Owen.)
My first try on a longer description, I hope it is good.
Also first picture with my new character: Kyle!
Comments = Faves
Quest reward:
~ 250 (30 per terrorist, Quest: 80, liberate the hostage: 20)
As seen in Fort Scrap, this vehicle is a modified version of the Bull Three-Wheeled Heavy Diesel Combat Car (Mk. IV) that was used in the North-Eastern Border Conflict. Having been scavenged from a war museum during the apocalypse, it has since been used by the Bull Riders faction as a large scouting vehicle.
I've built a series of variant versions of the Prowler APC, using different modules plugged in above the troop compartment. This is the Prowler-E, the engineering variant.

In a post-apocalyptical world, the prospering City of Tektropolis has become a rich metropolitan area. This attracts small gangs of outlaws as well as well organized groups of terrorists.
To defend itself, Tektropolis has established the Urban Defense Forces (UDF), which is composed of smaller Teams. One of them is the 21st UDS.
Here, I'd like to introduce the Anti-Ground Gunship AGG-12F "Flying Devil". It is manned with one pilot and can be equipped with a wide variety of military equipment. Being a VTOL, it can quickly come to help where- and whenever needed.
Kind of hard to tell in the pics, definitely easier to see it in person, but part of this side wall is on a ball joint so I was able to twist it slightly and tilt it towards the interior of the building, which I thought looked pretty fuckin dope. Bummed yall cant really see it that well.
Those who wish for peace, are the ones who die the quickest.
This world is harsh, and only the strong survive.
Hopes of seeing a survivor long extinguished, a lone man steps down from his perch to retreat indoors in the cavern-like rubble of what will surely become his tomb.
The truck can seat two minifigs. This will probably be used in my Apocalego diorama.

Fury from the attacks on the Northe Fingere rose like a wildfire, raging through the tunnels and caves of the Southe Fingere. Slowly, imperial guards started disappearing from the mines. The corpses of the imperialist soldiers were found later hung from the ceilings with pronouncements slashed upon their chests “long live Hans Kristjan!” and “Death to the Empire!”
The forerunners of the Southe Fingere rebels were Amadeus Jorg and Jurgen Leopold, known for their bravery and tendency to yell “On their Bloody heads!” in battle.
“We got ‘em running Sir!” One of the recently recruited young rebels yelled, “Excellent work, men!” shouted Jurgen. “Amadeus, Block off the end of the Nor’-western tunnel. We take them dead or not at all.” Caught between the crossfire of Amadeus’s forces and Jurgen’s, most soldiers resorted to wetting themselves and begging for mercy. None was given.
Weary after the day’s battle Jurgen told the assembled rebels “We take the lift shaft at twelve-hundred hours tomorrow. For those of you moronic enough not to know what that means, go ask somebody who does.” Leaving the rebels talking among themselves about the attack the next day, Jurgen walked the tunnels as a respite from the relentless stares and questions. “That was quite the battle today wasn’t it?” Jurgen was unsurprised to see Amadeus matching his step with his hands behind his back.
“Too many dead Amadeus, too many,” sighed Jurgen. “One of the searchers found the plans to the area around the mine-shaft on the sergeant that we killed today, it may prove tricky to avoid the gunfire from the tower while coming out of the breach in the door.” Amadeus stroked his chin absentmindedly. “Indeed it will be, unless we can get through while the dust is still settling.” Jurgen thought for a moment before speaking. “The river will provide another challenge for us to conquer, we may have to have one of the troops dress as an imperial soldier and steal a transport.” “An excellent idea Jurgen!” Cried Amadeus. “I will send somebody immediately!” As soon as Amadeus jogged off Jurgen headed for the sleeping quarters.
(The next day at dawn.)
“Get those rifles cleaned and ready to go, we need guns that won’t jam on us in the fight!” Roared Jurgen. “Sir, the transport is in place as you requested,” shouted a rebel of no more than fifteen. “Excellent! We need more fighters like you boy.” The young rebel beamed with pleasure at the compliment. “Every able-bodied man and women grab a rifle! We march in five!” “Jurgen, we’ve gotten the gunpowder from all the imperials weapons in a small crate, ready to be carried up” “You’re in charge of it then Amadeus,” barked Jurgen. “To the tunnels! For Freedom! For Brichstopiaaaa!” With that heroic cry the rebels charged up through the tunnels to an unknown fate. Upon reaching the steel containment wall that enclosed the tunnel’s entrance Amadeus placed the gunpowder charge against the gate and lit the slow fuse. Above the crackle of the flames the rebels could hear the sounds of weapons being prepped on the other side of the gate. Amadeus approached Jurgen and asked in a quiet voice, “Sir, I thought they didn’t know we were coming.” “They don’t,” with that the gunpowder detonated and the Brichstopians rushed through the breach screaming “On their bloody heads!”
Or scavenger or whatever you want to call.
I personally really like this minifig!

Here comes the cavalry!
After the outbreak, local fire departments banded together with their state and federal comrades to fight the zombie horde.
This zombie attack platform is based on the S&S Wildland Ultra XT. Like the underlying TATRA frame itself, features include several originally designed for military vehicles:
* Browning M2 .50 caliber machine gun
* M134 Minigun
* Water > flamethrower conversion
* Floodlights
* Front-mounted spikes
* Side-mounted circular saws
* Weapons rack

"No one really knows where he comes from originally, but his name sure as hell sounds Russian.
Makes sense too, because that's where all of the weird shit came from when this all went down...
Apparently a good twenty years or so ago, during the reconstruction era after "The Great War", the Russian and Japanese governments joined forces for some "top secret" project. They were attempting to modify the genetic structure of some newly discovered species of lizard.
Their tests went far worse than they ever expected, and they ended up not being able to contain what they had created...
This abomination of science escaped, and began reproducing. Apparently those bastards made 'em asexual... Brilliant!
That was the good news... They weren't sure where she'd gotten off to, but more and more dragons were been popping up on the grid. Their numbers were still pretty slim, but unless they can find "mom", there'll be a lot more of the damn things around here pretty soon...
At the time, few people had actually seen one of the beasts, but apparently Vlad here did... He claims to of been a part of a research project, some kind of human/dragon fusion process. It was supposed to create the ultimate soldier, but it wasn't entirely successful...
The fusion process did do it's job, but he didn't maintain his ability to speak; not in english, at least...
All he can do now is "shout". It's hard to explain, but I can tell you any band of raiders that have crossed his path have seriously regretted pissing him off...
He claims that he's killed a dragon with that odd sword of his, and that that's where he got the teeth on his armor from...
I'm not one to argue with a man who can bend fire to his will, and wrench my soul from my body with a single word...
Long story short, all of this "dragon" business went down several years ago, and they've since found and dealt with their original "mother". The world is still crawling with the damn things though, and we're just trying to finish killing them all off...
Vlad joined our crew in a time of sorrow... Our current leader had recently been killed by a fire dragon, and we were a bit lost without him.
Vladimir stepped in, and explained his past to us. It was probably a stupid move to put him in charge when we barely knew the man, but we were lost, and he knew more about these monsters than anyone else. He has lead us faithfully these last two years, and hopefully he will continue to do so until this dragon problem is all sorted out..."
I've felt so cold for so long now. Yet it is not just the cold outside that bothers me. It's the coldness of being alone, of not having the warmth and comforting of another person. I don't even know how long it's been, since the last time I saw a person I mean. All I know is that when I got back to town, no one was here. Just a city buried in snow.
Most of the buildings I've seen have fallen apart, unable to hold up with all the snow and freezing temperatures. But today, I found a relatively untouched building, with only what seems to be a few broken windows. I wonder why it is like that. Maybe it's that angel on top protecting the building.
When I moved up closer to see the building, I saw something I haven't seen in a long time. Blood. Where this blood in the snow came from I don't know, but it appears to lead somewhere, so I will follow. I just hope it's human blood, cause if it's not, well, who knows what it may be...
I have abandoned all relations and comrades to search my soul for the answer.
I built a platform out of Alumiron for my writing purposes.
All I need are a small generator and a few 100 watt lamps to see by.
Started out as my entry for the Apocalego contest but evolved into Meh-ness.

Quick figs for my new 'project.' I might use these next year at Brickfair if I make anything Apocalego.
Scientists in Washington have recently conceded that, if there were a nuclear war, all that would remain are cockroaches and Chuck Norris.
Apologies for the fail pictures.
Well, as you may have noticed I have been in a bit of a mini dark age lately. I have still been checking your guy's stuff but I haven't really built anything. Now however, I think I am back and ready to go at it again with these figs inspired by Legomoc and the The Chef's new RS resistance standards. So, I hope you Enjoy :)
*Purge Members: One example of the many things you can do with the road standards. This is obviously a shelled out road from a mortar or some other explosive, but when you make your baseplates, I want y'all to be creative with them instead of just making plain roads...
Hope everyone enjoys, and you can expect a full break down of it soon, but it really is just a lightly modified version of [Carter]'s ApocaLego Road...
