Apiaries and Bees for Communities presents urban beekeeper Kirk Anderson, from Los Angeles, California.
Seconds after this shot, I had the proverbial "bee in my bonnet." I didn't know exactly where it was; I just knew it was around my head from the buzzing. I quickly removed myself, placing my camera on the ground and disrobing my jacket until the sound went away. I later learned from the Apiarist that I did the opposite of what I should do. That is, walk away slowly and leave any protective clothing on.
