Ants love milkweed nectar too.

This ant has a story. It was one of many to attend my person after I disturbed their nest accidentally while I was working nearby. It made its presence felt as I drove home (30k) and again a couple of hours after I got home resulting in the removal of my jeans to investigate. Look at those mandibles, no wonder they make their presence felt.

reflecting on the past, looking forward!

this little guy was actually moving that yellow thing in his mandibles. I think it's a seed or something.

This was at ANT PRIDE, the adam & the ants tribute night . it was held at The salutation in Doncaster England on the 9th May. 3 bands appeared and as you can see some of us dressed up for the event. I think he was singing Prince Charming when I took this shot.

To take macro photos i use a simple Canon EOS 1200D (or Canon T5) with 18-55 lens. Since i don't have any macro lens, i bought some basic lens that is just a glass that permits me to get closer to my subject.

In primary school, I've learned about ants shepherding aphids. Today, I saw two ants actually doing that...

Antal played a deep afrobeat and boogieset during 5 Days Off. He's still one of my favorite Dutch dj's by far.

Ants have this amazing capacity to lift and carry objects that are 4 times their weight!

If you look closely at the ground you might be able to see his meals running around. :) Fought with Naomi and Ceasar while taking this shot, they kept scaring him away!

A common bird of the southern African grasslands. Although mainly insectivorous, I once saw one with a dead mouse in its beak..........naturally, I had no camera with me at the time to record the scene!!!!
