Entitled: "How to wear a paper bag over your head"
So far, my first line goes as follows:
"Sdnkp’Vnkjs’ndkjv’ sdnkjbv’snkd’vnofbnvkc op[‘fnviopsdnkdjcbdsj;acb"
Say no more.
Yup. It's officially the return of the brown paper bag until further notice, because Ansy feels and looks ugly.
It's also the first ever Friday I have failed to dress up for Fancy Dress Friday because. Just because.
A re-edit of my old photo. Original can be found here. Goes to show some improvement in post-production.
One of the many pictures I take of A, even though she knows I've got my camera pointed at her direction, she doesn't care. Thats what I like about her. She doesn't mind posing.
Simulated 2D velocity gradient of flow over a cylinder.
Just mucking about with the software.
Re = 100
I believe this was taken around breakfast time, if I'm correct.
I noticed some lights reflected on my camera, gave it a shot and figured it'd make a great minnie/mickey mouse mimicking shot.
Yeh, was pretty much short on ideas of what to do, considering there was so much happening, so much to do at camp, so many kids to boss around. etc.
A fankful foto for the fanksgiving fursday!
Considering it's Thanksgiving over in USA, [and why can't us Britons do a thanksgiving?!]
I can't just sit back and pretend like I'm not thankful.
Thankful for a lot of things this year. My friends. My family and God. But yep, thankful for all my flickr friends out there too :)
ok dudes, I never did intend for this photo to come out all blue and weird, but I totally forgot to change the white balance setting from last night's photo [still set to manual, custom set to a photo with artificial lighting], and so forget to check, snapped up this photo and figured... wow! nice effect. so left it at that!
I took a billion photos when I went to the Tate Museum that day. Plenty more to come on my stream!

During those days men will seek death, but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them
Revelation 9:6
The Hall of Bones.
As there was so little ground space, you only had a limited time in the graves. After 7 years or so, you were dug back up and then your relatives would decorate your skull and it would be placed into this room. After about the 60s, this stopped because cremation was okayed by the Catholic Church. The room itself was really quite small.
I'm kinda grateful for the sunshine. Grateful that I'm in a country where the sun is powerful. But I start to wonder, back at home, it's during this point during September that's when the seasons start to change. And the days start getting darker, earlier.
And I know if I were back at home, I'd be really affected right now. As you all know, I have S.A.D (as explained on day 2).
Here, however, the sun is blazing hot. Every day is sunny (all par when the skies suddenly get cloudy (but not a grey way like back at home...) it goes kinda yellowish (due to the sun shining through the smog) and it gets humid... and then the heavens open and rains for hours and hours (well, especially when being hit with a typhoon!)
The sun is good. But I've found myself whacking on the sunscreen, and carrying an umbrella and using it as a make-shift parasol over here... So yep!
Near where I live, there's a mini garden park water-park feature, which used to be a water tank thing. They've made it into a landmark. With funky lights. So here we are. I ventured out that evening with a camera and decided enough was enough. Let's spend some time taking photos!

I got a call this morning from a neighbor about a cool looking bird in their backyard and came right over.
Although the Osprey (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osprey) is common in both hemisphere's, I've never seen one (in Northern Nevada) nor the neighbors. We had a very windy and snowing storm the night before. The neighbors said it came in during the storm and stayed their all night. Pretty cool; I was happy...
Today I experimented a little bit more with white background, trying my best to work with having a true white background lit up by overexposing the back.
But I don't think it was bright enough, in that my back light needs to be on a smaller tripod and the light has to be more powerful. Hmmm. It turned out that the top part of the whiteground was very bright and white, but gradually towards the sides (due to the light and the metal reflectors) it kinda got dark[ish]. Hmmm.
So in this shot, I had PS help me a little bit. Only by dodging the shoulders a little bit. Everything else is true work... Ahem. Except for the cloning of some blemishes. Heh. And channel mixing.
Strobist information: Softbox to camera right, and a background light (brolly-less) behind me.
