Another day to myself, and a long overdue outing for this remarkable Collectif skirt. My old green version of the same was favourited recently - I only wish I still had it. However, this and the currently owned red one more than make up for its absence.

Ok, a little bit of Physics:
The skater takes off, draws the arms and legs in and spins in a constant motion. The result of this technique originats from the Physics topic defined as The Conservation of Angular Momentum. As the skater reduces rotational inertia by pulling the arms and legs in towards the body, the skater's speed of rotation must increase to maintain constant angular momentum. (As there is nearly frictionless contact with the ice, there is little net torque on the body. The skater's Angular Momentum is therefore *almost* entirely conserved.)
Sorry about the very poor definition of the photo! I had problems with the low light. Flash was not allowed. I pushed it quite a bit in Photoshop.
Took a picture of a bendy wire sculpture we have, turned it into a cube, added some texture then used a cross-process film effect.
