BLS ordered the RBDe565 (the right EMU) between 1982 and 1992. I think that you see that making an angular front was not an issue at all. It was most likely difficult enough to fit in all technical requirements with the limited space and weight.
The RABe535 (on the left) was delivered between 2008 and 2010. You see some really nice treatment by a design time for wonderfully round curves and some other design elements.

Rock glaciers are landforms consisting either of angular rock debris frozen in interstitial ice, former "true" glaciers overlain by a layer of talus, or something in between. Rock glaciers may extend outward and downslope from talus cones, glaciers or terminal moraines of glaciers. There are two types of rock glaciers: periglacial glaciers, or talus-derived glaciers, and glacial rock glaciers, which are often found in the former places of glaciers.
Most glacial rock glaciers are created by the recession of debris covered glaciers. Glacial rock glaciers are often found in cirque basins where rocky debris falls off the steep sides and accumulates on ice glaciers. As the glaciers shrink, their composition changes as they become increasingly covered with debris. Eventually, the glacial ice is replaced by ice cored rocks.
With the exception of ice-cored rock glaciers, rock glaciers are a periglacial process. This means that they are a nonglacial landform associated with cold climates, particularly with various aspects of frozen ground. Periglacial rock glaciers require permafrost instead of glacial ice in order to form. Instead, they are caused by continuous freezing occurring within a talus lobe.

Tonight after studying several hours I started to do my CWD assignments. R.E.M. what a difficult assignment!!!! Luckily I got an idea from the song "Burning Hell" by R.E.M. So I started to take photos of my pants =D

What is the angular size of the International Space Station? Both images were shot with a Canon XSi attached to a 16" F/4.6 Newtonian telescope with a FL of 1890mm. Jupiter is about 38" of arc, the space station is a little bigger.
Took a picture of a bendy wire sculpture we have, turned it into a cube, added some texture then used a cross-process film effect.
