Common Angle moth (Macaria aemulataria; Hodges #6326) - Suburban New Jersey, 25 miles west of "The City" (NYC)
This guy proved to be a very good model, and after I had captured one pose I would give it a poke, it would fly 4 or 5 feet, and I'd have a chance at another pose.
I stood up on the balcony and used a wide-angle lens to capture this shot of people dancing. I used a wide aperture with a moderately slow shutter speed to get the movement of the dance.
