I love the architecture of the Ohio State campus. This is the infamous University Hall looking particularly formidable.

My computer keyboard, complete with cat hair. For the Alphachrome game.

All camera & flash settings were fixed except for the flash position which is 2ft away from the subject.

No right angles here. This is a closeup view of the Wave Resort, located in Broadbeach on the Gold Coast. Very funky architecture indeed.

These pickets feature 45-degree angle cuts rather than your more typical Gothic cuts. Our pickets are made of clear-grade cedar to prevent any weaknesses that might occur at knot points.

Angle-Shades

A foot-scraper sidles up the wall

like a basking lizard catching

a sideways glint of winter sun.

Grave-shadows cross the grass

at an enhanced slant, like

a grove of granite sundials.

Some touch the paving stones

as though thumbing the keys

of a moss-cold accordion.

Wrought-iron cages a grave,

a long-barred prison holding

ghosts down to the turf.

A house is engulfed by sun;

its chimney is the drip-end

of a funnel, spilling dew.

The yew tree reaches loving arms

over the mourners’ chair, offering

a cool-breathed consolation.

Dark as water, flooding the west,

spilt in a rush, engulfing

a hedge, the church pours down.

There is a confusion of graves

and trees; we walk through woods

on the recumbent plane, come out

at a gate, leading nowhere and

everywhere. Creak it open,

bow low, enter the sunless ground.

Day 20 Angles

I really enjoy playing with shapes and angles. Also I liked the texture on the sphere.

Some of the best views are dependant on careful aim and shooting angle.... Follow me for more technical advice...

One of those typical myspace-y angles that always make you look good. ;D

A few angles of a Two truck Climax Locomotive imported to the USA by PFM in the 1960's. This particular model has had a can motor installed to replace the bulky open frame motor that came in it originally.

A lone angler and a lone goose. An early cold and damp morning, it seem a very solitary pastime.

Rather than a sharp corner, this house features an angled wall with a door and window. Located in downtown Guelph. Quite a different design.
