This is my "Casual Spencerian" lettering on a wedding invitation suite... I love the 25 degree angle used! I had seen it done before and I was so excited to get the commission.

Sometimes called the ‘Cobblers Pose’, this is a fabulous groin opener with a strong lift on the central trunk. Folks with very tight hips and upper legs will most likely find the pose challenging, so would benefit by sitting up on a yoga brick or rolled blanket. Using a strap to reach the feet may also be beneficial. Also sitting against a wall with the sitting bones (head of Femurs) tucked as close in as possible. When initially learning the pose, relax the big toe edge of the feet away from each other. Later you can learn to join the feet fully.
Breathing should be steady and connected to the stretches. Make sure you lift the sternum bone and drop & broaden the shoulder blades at the back
Doing general leg work will help, especially outward rotations in the hip joints – Tree Pose, Leg Stretching Out to the sides. Triangle Pose, Lateral Right Angle Pose. Hip Openers.
Placing the soles of the feet together connects the central Cakras in the feet, as does placing the palms together in a prayer position. These Mudras contain the outward flow of intrinsic energy in the body and therefore are useful for inward practices – meditation and possibly to calm nervous conditions. Can also be used as part of a relaxation program in the reclining version.
Variations
•Turn the posture into a full forward bend by extending the chest up over the feet. Try to rest the chin on the mat in front of you.
•Recline back with the shoulders & head supported on a blanket or Yoga Bricks. Arms are relaxed out to the sides.

It was hard for me to make up my mind for selecting the 100 photos symbolizing my Vietnamese compatriots end 2011 during the development of the atypical photobook Vietnamese We - Người Việt Nam chúng tôi - Nous autres Vietnamiens. This picture of an angler in Hanoi by Hoang Kiem lake was several times chosen then removed. The selection and ordering of photos in an artbook prove obviously subjective and often hard to explain. I finally selected this candid picture for its 3D rendition, its graphical composition, its soft colors, the profiles of its three figures, the fishing rod and float with the open left hand of the angler, and above all its Vietnamese serene atmosphere.
