Sometimes Storms do there odd things as u see here. Taken in May 2012 --it seemed I was in for a treat and in all directions it was mooding like this en that--you didnt know what come next--!
Found him/her curled up in a Welsh flag in my garden, rescued and photographed then settled in a container (with holes & leaves). Now it's hibernating prior to pupating.
Thought this was funny the place this Caterpillar has chosen to pupate into a Angle Shades Moth in our garden lol
The plasma marks left on the thermal tiles tell the story of how intense re-entry was during the Shuttle missions.
This is the roof of the inside of a gazebo. Took it shooting straight up while on my back. Got some strange looks, but got the shot I wanted. The white right behind the metal bracing are thousands of spider webs.

Our poor old pier, rusting away into the sea! If only someone would care for it properly like they do in Brighton and Eastbourne!
At the beginning of November the Pier was completely closed and fenced off by Portsmouth City Council as it was a danger to the Public. A couple of days later, the council let the only the front of the pier open. These included part of the arcade and other bits which are actually on land.
In December 2012 an attempt to sell the pier at auction failed.

30 Days of Perception - Day 3

This morning, when it was still dark outside, I noticed that the electric light created angles because of the way the light and shadows came together. This is what I noticed first: the shapes. Then I saw how the different colours created impact. I love to take photos where we remove all possible labels and enjoy instead the play of shape, light, shadow and colour.
This is a very exciting exercise which I like very much.
