All three shots are of the same bag. This is just a comparison between my two cameras. Bottom left is my newly modified D3000 sans the hotmirror, allowing full exposure of UV, Visible, and Near-Infrared light, hybrid, without any filters. Top Right is with an R72 filter installed, blocking all visible light and only allowing Infrared. Bottom right is just the control shot taken with my D90 to show visible light only, and an accurate example of what the human eye would see.

Finite Element Analysis (FEA) finds the solution by subdividing large problem into a finite element. The system assembles the finite element & then models the entire problem.

Analysis paralysis: Is the state of overanalysing or overthinking.
I feel that overthinking is very common amongst people in the world and it can cause a small problem to be stress upon and turn into a huge un-neccesary problem. This is the first photo in my "Concepts" album which will portray different social issues/concepts through photography.
Eighth grade students analyzed two Edgar Allen Poe poems and a short story to examine the writer’s techniques for establishing tone and mood.

Guns and machetes were the tools of the Army when eliminating anyone thought to be a threat. Shown here is a gunshot entrance wound through the occipital bone of the cranium.
A figure that's been sitting around for a while, finally being opened because I had time. The Revoltech Queen's Blade Alice figure was one of several items in a lot that was purchased WAAAAY back in August 2023 in Edmonton, AB
I love the Queen's Blade designs, and wished that Revoltech wasn't the only one that did proper action figures of the line (Nendoroid did a few) as it makes tracking them down and the pricing of them really, really painful these days.
This one was maybe $30 bucks or so, which is great except for that fact that sadly, she is missing one hand.
These figures were released around 2010, during the era when Revoltech were terrible at articulation. This also isn't the first of the line, so I already knew what to expect.
The overall sculpt, given the age, actually isn't too bad. It's a bit rough around the hair and other finer areas, but they did build in full cast off capabilities as well as an alternate costume for their damaged mode (as well as a relevant face plate). The nude body features some decent curves and painted nipples, but no anatomical features at the the crotch. I think that with the exception of Cattlya and Nowa, the ladies all have the same build, or at least when it comes to the curves.
Trademark weapons are present, which in the case of Alice are Twin Machine Guns and a Whip with various strap styles.
The articulation really isn't great at all. Due to the nature of the joint system, the hips were terrible, making kneeling and crouching poses a nightmare. There's no waist joint, but there is a chest joint as well as the typical shoulders, arms, head, and neck. As this is an older Reovoltech, this has those clicking joints, which makes getting limbs to be exactly the same a bit of a chore, and also it makes making limb length equivalent a challenge, which in turn makes standing hard. The weight and bulk of the hair make posing even more challenging, though it should be noted there are strands of hair that can be articulated.
As none of the joints are ball joints, taking the figure apart to apply the alternate costume piece is relatively simple.
Paint Work is decent. Certainly the paint on the Queen's Blade line is much better than any of the other Revoltech items I was into at the time. By modern standards, slightly above average, I'd say in line with Snail Shell.Build, well Build Quality on all these figures was a complete trainwreck.
