Went to London for a drama trip to see 'One man two guvnors' starring James Corden WHICH WAS UTTERLY HILARIOUUUSSS, and then went to see 'Comedy of errors' starring Lenny Henry WHICH WAS ALSO HILARIOUS!!!! Also a tour of the globe theatre and shopping in covent garden - all in all an amazing day!
Anyway I took it as an oppertunity to take my mini diana test film out, and this was probably one of my, if not my overall favourite from the entire film, it's so cuuuuuute :D:D:D

The Akha Nuqui are an ethnic group who live in the hills north of Phongsali in northern Laos. Married women wear gorgeous headdresses bedangled with silver coins and beads. We did a three-day trek to several villages, where we stayed with village chiefs and their families. The Akha are animist and follow prohibitions such as not whistling inside the house in order to prevent attracting bad spirits. The Beast is without doubt one of the most famous custom cars of the 1970s. The original Beast resembled a Mk. I Capri with a long bonnet and Rolls-Royce grille but that was sadly destroyed in a fire so the builder, John Dodd of Epsom, set about creating a successor that bore more of a resemblance to a Scimitar GTE.
Dodd created the unique body and chassis and fitted a Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 aero engine, hence why he also fitted a Rolls-Royce grille.
The story goes that the Beast was driving along the German autobahn when she overtook a Porsche driver. The Porsche driver proceeded to ring Rolls-Royce to request their new model, although Dodd later revealed that he made the call to amuse himself. Rolls-Royce, lacking a sense of humour, took offence and took Dodd to court over the use of their grille, which he was forced to remove. She now sports a more plain grille surround and Dodd's initals cover the radiator.
The car has been driven at 185m.p.h. and once held the record for the most powerful road car. She now resides in Spain but returned to Britain in June to collect her final tax disc, and attended June's cruise as well as Dragstalgia at Santa Pod and July's Krispy Kreme meet in New Malden.

Grilled Oyster
Gratinée with a Champagne sabayon, topped with black truffle shavings. Hot water was poured around the stone, which caused them to send up a sea-scented steam, what the French call "embrun."

Alain Passard's famous Arpege Egg contains a poached egg yolk topped with chives and a generous dollop of sherry vinegar-whipped cream. The cream topping is drizzled with a touch of maple syrup and garnished with fleur de sel.
Taste: The sherry cream was wonderful against the warm gooey yolk at the heart of this amuse. However, the real treat was the how the maple syrup and fleur de sel played off each other in a delightful and tasty sub-plot.
Had the unbelievable opportunity to shoot this gorgeous Amuse widebody s2000 while I was in SF for Wekfest. No one has ever shot this car before so it was awesome to get the privilege to do so. Thanks to Kaan for bringing out this piece of art. Big thanks to Jeremy and Brad for helping me on this one and Jason for showing us an awesome location.
Peter presented us with these delcious amuse-gueule to keep us going before supper. Witloof (endive) filled with fresh crab, smoked salmon on toast and mini tomatoes filled with shrimp and mayonaise. All delighted my palette.
