I decided to avoid the crowds at Stanmer Park Kite Festival and go here instead. I came here with a friend in the 80s to take some portrait pics; easy access to most units then, but not now, some were open.
It was really quiet and full of interesting stuff - machines, warehouses, diggers and trucks, boats. The weather was a little cloudy, a bit of rain and some sun too. So a good mix of it all. Ive worked on some of these, I felt b&w was needed on some, sepia on others, hopefully not too much.
Well it would have been rude not to have taken one of these shots whilst out and about. Taken from behind the Boomerang, aka One Blackfriars.
