This one was quite a amazing capture. Its so damn dark there and it had me thinking, how to bring a good shot out of it... So just to test, I increased the ISO to 2000, at the same time decreasing the Shutter speed and setting the Aperture to the widest f-stop, just went for the shot.
And the result was...........well you can see. It may not be that extraordinary, but comparing with the situation, I was in, at that time, its a special capture for me.... :-)
Spent the day over at Bukit Timah hill with the family. Awesome place to get a feel for the wild life and nature reserves in Singapore. With it's rapid urbanisation, there's not may nature reserves left. Didn't have that much experience with monkeys prior to this, did try to shoot some on Mount Rinjani, still yet to post those. Crab-eating macaque or long-tailed macaque as they're called, were extremely welcoming, especially the young ones, I could get within 30cm from their faces. One mother did try to attack me, got me running for my life haha, but eventually made it back and continued shooting. Stocked, amazing captures, especially the one captioned, "Child". I was able to get tack sharp images with slow shutter speeds, all in all, I can say my day was pretty good.

this is the barn where the christmas party at one of my jobs was held..believe me it was cold in there! but i loved the look of the barn..the gray bluish tones..
can you imagine a table in there loaded with goodies..santa clauses dancing around a christmas tree..with a bunch of grown up and kids? looks empty and silent doesn´t it?
well there was music coming out of these doors and the inside lit up with christmas and a christmas tree..:)

This is my latest capture of this wonderful galaxy found in the Triangulum Constellation, approximately 2.7 MLY distant. My previous work was poor in comparison. It's been 8 years since my last attempt and the changes in my equipment and processing have improved. Taken from my backyard under poor conditions, high humidity and I'd guess Bortle 7 plus skies. Frankly, looking at the images as they were being written to disk, I thought about canceling the capture. Modern astronomy software is amazing ...
Capture details: HaLRGB, processed in PixInsight with BXT / NXT. Ha added to LRGB master with NBRGB Combination script, 60 mins RGB, 120 mins Ha, 80 mins Lum - Total 4.3 hrs. Equipment: Eon80 with Moonlite focuser @ 500mm, Mach1, Pegasus PPBADV for power and dew control. Captured with N.I.N.A 2.3 and Phd2. Pixinsight XISF color master processed with GraXpert exported as TIFF with final color / background processing done in CS6.
