European Robin, Erithacus rubecula.

In december I got to work with the lovely Model G again, and produced some amazing captures some of which I initially rejected and others I can't help but re-work over and over again.

Never shot Marina before so tonight was a treat. She was extremely pretty lady and a pleasure to photograph. The fan centre stage blowing her hair the hole set makes for some amazing captures along with the eye contact she gives to the camera during her performance.

Lighting was a bit off with some dodgy colours and the white balance on my camera had a mind of its own tonight. Few manual tweaks in lightroom and she was looking better then ever again. Really appreciating the difference in quality between editing from Jpeg's and Raw.

Spent the day over at Bukit Timah hill with the family. Awesome place to get a feel for the wild life and nature reserves in Singapore. With it's rapid urbanisation, there's not may nature reserves left. Didn't have that much experience with monkeys prior to this, did try to shoot some on Mount Rinjani, still yet to post those. Crab-eating macaque or long-tailed macaque as they're called, were extremely welcoming, especially the young ones, I could get within 30cm from their faces. One mother did try to attack me, got me running for my life haha, but eventually made it back and continued shooting. Stocked, amazing captures, especially the one captioned, "Child". I was able to get tack sharp images with slow shutter speeds, all in all, I can say my day was pretty good.

J'aime le résultat inattendu de cette photo prise avec le zoom numérique "démultiplié" x 70 de mon Panasonic FZ18. J'ai l'impression d'être devant une peinture! Je pense d'ailleurs m'en inspirer pour peindre...

I love the unexpected result of this photo taken with the digital zoom "multiplied" x 70 of my Panasonic FZ18.

I have the impression of being in front of a painting! I think inspire me to paint ...

The Aghoresvara temple above mentioned is a large structure, built of granite, in a uniquely mixed style that incorporates elements from Vijayanagara architecture, the Karnata Dravida style of the Later Chalukya dynasty and Hoysala Empire, as well as the architecture of the Deccan sultanates.

Looking through archived pictures-this is from 2005 when the Toledo Zoo had a dragon theme. He was basking under a heat lamp.

Wolf spider mommy with its Egg sack ... watch closely

Wolf spiders are members of the family Lycosidae, fThey are robust and agile hunters with excellent eyesight. They live mostly in solitude and hunt alone, and do not spin webs. Some are opportunistic hunters pouncing upon prey as they find it or even chasing it over short distances. Some will wait for passing prey in or near the mouth of a burrow.

Wolf spiders resemble nursery web spiders (family Pisauridae), but wolf spiders carry their egg sacs by attaching them to their spinnerets. (Pisauridae carry their egg sacs with their chelicerae and pedipalps). Two of the wolf spider's eight eyes are large and prominent, which distinguishes them from the nursery web spiders whose eyes are all of approximately equal size. This can also help distinguish them from grass spiders. . Nikon D750 , Tamaron 90MM, Raynox DCR250

We had a very sudden, violent storm the other night which lasted for only about five minutes. During that time there was a continual display of lightening and thunder, and hailstones the size of tennis balls! We were glad that we were indoors!

Recording the moment of touching up in progress before the shooting. By looking at her eyes, hairstyle, every deep details reflecting on her image so well.

Most people start capturing the well furnished work, and im seeing things different. I love to capture shots where someone or a group of people while concentrating on something, the focus expression did tell how exactly feels on the photos.

Simply love this amazing captured... really !
