An amazing capture of light coming in from the Rose window at Strasbourg's Notre Dame Cathedral. Long shutter exposure (30 seconds) with tripod aimed directly upwards w/ 28-70 2.8 L all the way open.

This Great Blue Heron was "airing out" its wings below Kentucky Dam at Gilbertsville, Kentucky. There were several of these birds below the dam fishing, as the water flower downstream. (Photographed with a Canon 7D, Canon 300mm f2.8 L IS and 1.4x.)

The heavy-bodied jumper, also known as the semi-coppered heavy jumper, is a species of spider of the genus Hyllus. It is native to India and Sri Lanka

En quittant le port...On leaving the port ...

An old fishing boat which had sunk under the Etang de Thau (Bouzigues / Hérault / France)

A Fruit vendor walking and a autorickshaw ( 3 wheeler taxi ) passed him and this shot captured him through the rickshaw frame smiling.

Took this picture today. The way the light caught the leaves in the forest was kind of neat. The pic was underexposed so I processed it to take advantage of the effect.

Another amazing capture from Amazonis Planitia, this one from just last month. Credit: NASA/JPL/UA

Lake Salda offers great variety of scenes for amazing captures. Rather than swimming and enjoying this natural beauty, people are spending time on exposing each other with artistic moves. It is a must here in Saldives:)

The long anticipated Operation Underground map released today on Battlefield V and looks amazing. Captured on XboxOneX.

South Island Robin.

There were two of these little guys together on the path just past the Moria Gate Arch. While this seems like an amazing capture, to be honest the hardest part was keeping him off our shoes and on the vegetation. Absolutely no fear, and a real love of shoelaces.

Shot at 85mm, approx 1m away. Only slightly cropped for framing.

Le vieux couple / The old couple

(4518whataretheseswarmsofsilverywhitebirdsq) Near the flock of Canada Geese, are these much smaller birds that stick together very rhythmically, looking sort of brown when they fly one way and when they change direction looking very silvery white. Can someone ID the type of birds that description would fit. Maybe roughly the size of a barn swallow. The move so rapidly it is hard to get a fix on them.

I see these birds in valley farm land, particularly grass seed land. This shot is at Finley Wildlife Refuge about 10 or 11 miles southwest of the City of Corvallis, Benton County, Oregon proper. I'll try to geotag it. It is in the Willamette Valley of Oregon.

It is geotagged, but says Barclay, Oregon. There is no Barclay, Oregon that I know of, but I couldn't figure out how to change the name. Sorry.
