Se soltó el vagón y volamos al espacio exterior, próxima estación mucho mas allá del sol. Convoy espacial, ¿ qué tan lejos nos llevara?
Oímos la galaxia explotar y cada uno de los otros planetas. Dormimos en nubes de gas, en playas de relojes de arena que cada noche una nueva luna. Hicimos el amor en algunas, cuerpos a contra luz guiados por la cruz del sur dentro de un volcán, nadie supo ni que nos paso, ahora somos polvo cósmico.
Próxima estación, mucho más allá del sol.

We went for a walk near the airfield at Angouleme and came across a meadow which was full of butterflies. I have never seen so many different species in one place before. It was amazing. Capturing them on camera was a challenge though as it was midday and hot so they were all very active.

View L. Ran out to door a bit early this morning to see what I could find at a nearby wildlife sanctuary. I was a bit late as I needed to deal with icy car windows-not normal in GA. I was thrilled to see sun and fog and birds. I had a tough time deciding on my shot for today, but I do love the flare, the color, the reflection, and the abstractness of this one, so this is my choice. Will post a few others later today.
365 Reflection: with only three to go, I have been thinking about what I have learned through this project. I have learned (which I pretty much already knew), that my first love is nature. Can't get enough of it. So much to see, to photograph, to feel and enjoy, to hear and touch. It's everything and amazing. Capturing a natural moment is simply sublime.

I think it's a pretty amazing capture. There's no selective editing here. The sun rose briefly after a night of heavy rainfall and illuminated a small portion of the buildings you see here. The whole landscape was glistening with water and reflecting the steel blue sky above it. I am really happy I captured this image when I did, because minutes later the sun vanished behind the clouds and did not come back for the entirety of the day.
Sunday fun with color drops =P. The setup is so easy that would have you laughing.. will post it up later this evening after I try some more. Enjoy the rest of your weekend all!!!

Spent the day over at Bukit Timah hill with the family. Awesome place to get a feel for the wild life and nature reserves in Singapore. With it's rapid urbanisation, there's not may nature reserves left. Didn't have that much experience with monkeys prior to this, did try to shoot some on Mount Rinjani, still yet to post those. Crab-eating macaque or long-tailed macaque as they're called, were extremely welcoming, especially the young ones, I could get within 30cm from their faces. One mother did try to attack me, got me running for my life haha, but eventually made it back and continued shooting. Stocked, amazing captures, especially the one captioned, "Child". I was able to get tack sharp images with slow shutter speeds, all in all, I can say my day was pretty good.
