My aunt is a HUGE Bingo fan so I altered a domino to make her a lucky Bingo keyring!
This is the front with an old bingo card on it.
This was my first attempt at altering dominoe and I struggled slightly getting the keyring through the hole because the glue filled it! DOH rookie mistake!!

This is the third page of my altered book. Page 4 has the next line of the poem on it. I find these page simple compared to the previous two. There isn't a lot happening on the page. I used green tree paper for the background and wanted the brown paper (with a cool pattern that does not show in scan) to imitate the slash of the sword, as if he has cut the darkness away to expose the tree horizon. The knight is another section from my prize puzzle find. The string is loose and attached to snaps leading to the next page from the waist of the knight. I love the free flow of the string across these pages.

shunt porto-sus-hépatique, découvert fortuitement au scanner demandé pour altération de l'état général chez un femme de 63 ans. Cette lésion, décrite principalement sur foie cirrhotique et plus rarement sur foie sain, se manifeste le plus souvent par une encéphalopathie hépatique et/ou des troubles de la glycémie.
L'origine congénitale ou acquise de telles lésions est discutée. Les formes acquises ont surtout été décrites au cours des hépatopathies chroniques (cirrhose et hépatite chronique). La vascularisation hépatique peut comporter des anastomoses spontanées intra-hépatiques entre systèmes porte et sus-hépatique dans le foie sain et dans le foie cirrhotique . Ces anastomoses porto-sus-hépatiques, non fonctionnelles en l'absence d'hépatopathie, favorisent peut-être l'apparition de shunts en cas d'hypertension portale.
Un nombre croissant de shunts veineux porto-systémiques intra-hépatiques détectés par échographie devrait conduire à une meilleure compréhension de leur étiopathogénie. Seules les lésions symptomatiques justifiant d'un traitement invasif devraient bénéficier d'explorations complémentaires. La tomodensitométrie spiralée permet actuellement d'éviter le plus souvent l'examen invasif qu'est l'artériographie. Les petites lésions sont traitées par embolisation. Les autres nécessitent une hépatectomie. Si les indications thérapeutiques sont codifiées pour les malades symptomatiques, la surveillance des malades asymptomatiques semble prudente.
