Ok, I will tell you from now that this pic is just the logo from Halo: Alpha, my new project. this will be a book (yeah I know, weird right? Oh well, SURPRISE!) and a stop-motion series. I won't spoil much of the story. Here's just a few facts to tell you the main things. Action takes place on Reach, autumn 2552. The main characters (seen in the picture above) are general grade I A268 Karlo (left) and brigadier grade II A217 Matthews (right). I will put the plot in the descriptions of the upcoming vigs. Hope you guys like it and stay posted for more.
House of alpha
goodwill is the monarch of this house, men unacquainted, enter, shake hands, exchange greetings and depart friends. Cordiality exist among all who abide within. I am the eminent expression of friendship. Character and temperament change under my dominant power. Lives once touched by me become tuned and are thereafter amiable, kindly, fraternal.
I inspire the musician to play noble sentiments and assist the chemist to convert ungenerous personalities into individuals of great worth. I destroy ignoble impulses. I constantly invoke principles which make for common brotherhood and the echo resounds in all communities and princely men are thereby recognized. Education, health, music, encouragement, sympathy, laughter, all these are species of interest given of self invested capital.
Tired moments find me a delightful treat, hours of sorrow, a shrine of understanding, at all times i am faithful to the creed of companionship, to a few, i am the castle of dreams, ambitious, successful, hopeful dreams. To many, i am the poetic place where human feeling is rhymed to celestial motives; to the great majority, i am the treasury of good fellowship.
In fact, i am the college of friendship; the university of brotherly love; the school for the better making of men.

Representations that fall into the Uncanny Valley would not necessarily have to be mechanoid - or at least that is what I would imagine. Something which is humanoid yet clearly non-human, should also qualify. It would however have to have negative subconscious associations, such as a succubus surely must have. I am reading up on my Freud to see if I can find any substantiation for this claim in what he has to say upon the subject of the Uncanny.
So meanwhile, Flea Bussy's Smoke avatar comes with an entirely different shape and skin as well as hair. I kept the bald look and adjusted all the prims to Alpha's shape and size. And also made them semi transparent. The skin is Vry Offcourse's "Frail" skin.
This one is actually called the "Smoke Incubus" at Grendel's Children. However, since Alpha is female she cannot be an Incubus, only a Succubus.

Alphas is an American science fiction dramatic television series created by Zak Penn and Michael Karnow. It follows a group of people with superhuman abilities, known as “Alphas”, as they work to prevent crimes committed by other Alphas.
The series was broadcast in the United States...
The Lambda Rho chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi greeting new members during the chapter's second ever Bid Day at TCU. For those of you who don't know what Bid Day is...and I didn't either...all the sororities assemble on the Campus Commons. Then the newbies are released one chapter at a time to run toward their new sisters. It's kinda like a cattle drive, but with a much happier ending.
I also rolled about 90 seconds of video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qnt0kMEWWQ&list=UUlJLPNVzTQB...
