Dead end section of old Pacific Hwy alignment called William Flick Drive looking north Byron Bay Rd and the avenue of figs.
Former Pacific Hwy alignment through Murwillumbah bypassed with the opening of the Chinderah - Yelgun deviation in 2002.
Up until 1994 the Pacific Hwy threaded it's way through Bangalow until the opening of the Bangalow Bypass. Now the Bangalow Bypass itself with the opening of the Tintenbar - Ewingsdale Project in late 2015.
This is a dead end section which once was the southern entrance into Bangalow. The current alignment is just behind the trees.
