Once The View, a prolonged failure and now rekindled and called Bay House. And the project is really being seen thru now.
In the caption of the previous pic I stated that it was the last one of the Sigma test series. But I forgot this one ;-)
It’s part of the new Sigma 150 2,8 Apo Macro album.
This is number 1221 of Minimalism / explicit graphism and 13 of Bundweg/Rijnhaven Zz.

Detail of One Pool Street, part of the UCL East campus in London's Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Designed by architects Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands and completed in 2022.
The foreground is just fabulous - the colour from the winter sunshine brings out all the details perfectly...
this was also taken during my trip to washington dc. this is a small but impressive marble gazebo near the reflecting pool. i thought that the title was rather apt for the capitol, where good and evil are in constant tug of war...
tried handheld hdr with this shot. i had some alignment problems and some chromatic aberrations but overall, i think it's not that bad. i hope you like it...

You've seen this flower before, but it's been a while (please see the first comment). This sturdy little thing of (to me) unknown ID, blooming for a very long time despite being exposed to the cold late autumn temperatures on our balcony, had been my photographic "lockdown past time" along with the weekly MM assignments which helped a lot during one of the many lockdowns, and I can't believe that this is almost four years ago – time seemed to have stopped in those years.
I photographed this humble yellow beauty from all sides, at different times of the day/evening, and with different lenses throughout a couple of weeks. At one point, I had the idea to use the spray bottle to jazz it up a little bit with "nature's jewels". The yellow bokeh balls in the background are lights in the windows of a house right across the street, and they reminded me of a stellar constellation, hence the title.
This image has been waiting on my hard drive almost forever, fully processed and ready to upload, so I don't recall any of the processing steps. Judging from the looks, I'm sure that Analog Efex was involved, but that's it ;)
Happy Sliders Sunday, Everyone!
occurring or discovered by chance in a happy or beneficial way.
I believe everything happens for a reason and in the time you need it most. Bad things happen to you so better things can be set into alignment.

This shot is a special "gift" for my Flickr Follower "Stadt-Kind" who likes Bokehmanian shots. Tried to concentrate very carefully on THE detail, which really is the alignment of this car (the famous Ro80). Have Fun!!!!
ARCHITECTURE
"The Oculus was positioned as part of the World Trade Center masterplan by Daniel Libeskind and designed by Santiago Calatrava. The structure’s white metal-clad steel ribs reach up and out in a monumental move symbolic of a hand releasing a dove.
The structure's orientation serves as a lasting reminder of the attacks of September 11, 2001. It is in alignment with the sun’s solar angles on each September 11, from 8:46 am, when the first plane struck, until 10:28 am, when the second tower collapsed. Its central skylight fits this alignment and washes the Oculus floor with a beam of light."
