HBW everyone. Digging a photo out of my archives.
Thank you for your patience while I've busy with work and the recurrence of this inner ear infection which has kept me away from Flickr. I've stopped in briefly to look at some photos and will begin catching up with all of you over the course of the week.
I hope you are all doing well.

Felicia is one of many humanoid dragons from her home planet. She was always known to be a keen observer, always curious about the world around her. She was born with basic mind-reading powers, able to detect a general thought or phrase that someone is thinking. However, she is not the greatest at retaining her knowledge, always going back to previous locals and persons to try, and repeat the same situations. Often with failure. She has no fear when it comes to her curiosity, known to only see the tree from the forest around her.
Upon being sent to a new world without her knowing, she was disgustingly thrilled. So many new species that she could study and observe. However, despite her new setting, she still repeats all her previous mistakes. Always realizing it, shrugging her shoulders, and moving on. She too management over a local library to not only learn more about this new world, but also have a place for quick access to this knowledge lest she forget it again.
She became friends with a fellow lover of knowledge, Namaste, and often suggest books to each other. Many who stop in know not to spend too much time with her if you are in a rush or have something else on your mind because she will jump into a discussion of asking about your biology. Get what you need from the library and get out.
He turned 9 years old today, happy birthday to my original self-MOC.

Shadow is known as a Necrospherian, a ghost-like creatures who are the spirits of many worlds, all residing on the planet Etyosa. This planet is ruled by the tyrant, Fractus (Phantom), who seeks out the strongest of his kind to amass an army. Under his reign, those who are deemed weak or have no potential are exiled. Shadow, being one who would fight against his ruler’s tyranny from a rebel faction, was not only exiled, but sent to a planet in the physical realm. This was his punishment; he could not hide from those who would see him as a monster. He was able to be incorporeal for only short bursts, unable to escape or try to figure a plan in secret.
He had discovered that the locals often wore masks to hide their face and would wear armor, this was a planet of warriors. Shadow had crafted a mask, armor, and even a cape for flare to blend in with the crowd. When time came around to fight another, he had used what the locals deemed as “nightmare” powers. His powers were mental manipulation and super speed, able to take almost any opponent and force them into a dream like state where he could have complete control of what were to happen. He would be able to read the minds of those he took control of, knowing their weaknesses, and creating a nightmare that would defeat the enemy. This was not something a Necrospherian could do in their own realm, but no other has been exiled to a physical world, so Shadow was unaware of this power.
After his powers were shown, he had become the rival of many, and yet would always win any battle that came his way. He became a leader with a small group of elemental warriors, and fought many enemies. One of which, was his original enemy, Fractus (Phantom), who had started to bring his army into Shadow’s world to overtake it. He had made friends, lost friends, even became reacquainted with his original rebel group.
However, something completely unpredictable had occurred. Without any warning, the whole planet was engulfed with a bright, blinding light. Where all if not most of the inhabitants were sent to what looked like a whole new world. Enemies, friends, all covered in a pink dust that fell like sand once brushed off themselves. To those that were not of Shadow’s kind were completed oblivious, acting as if nothing had changed. While all Necrospherians had noticed the change. This was the work of the Aeonyx, Kairos, who had copied the planet’s creatures for his own pleasure, but due to the physiology of the ghosts, they were merely moved from one planet to this fabricated planet. They could sense Kairos, and have been sent to a world they cannot escape. The Aeonyx had realized his mistake, and sent beings of his creation, the false Aeonyx, to secretly find and destroy these beings. If they were to spread the word of Kairos’ plan, all is lost, making it easier for him to be found by Lady Void.
The Necrospherians had teamed up, even Fractus with Shadow, many battles, many lost, with only a handful of them left. One of which, was Shadow, who had changed drastically since this occurrence. He had been spending many, many years trying to run and fight against Kairos and his minions. He had become a veteran fighter, a master of his “nightmare” powers, and had casted off his mask as a symbol of his Necrospherian pride. He had the remains of his team stored away, in the event that he could escape this planet, he can try and bring them back. Despite his increased skill, he had grown frail with time, and while still a more than capable fighter, realized he could not do this alone.
He had heard of a small group of fighters who were under the command of a white, sleek robot that had possessed the powers of magnetism. Shadow had studied him as well as his team for multiple nights, and had discovered that he was not a confident or skilled leader, but had potential to be. Minion, the leader, had a great team who did not see eye-to-eye or even all together at one place, but had studied many battles they have gone through.
Shadow had decided to intervene when Minion and his team were in a losing battle with Vanity, one of the false Aeonyx. Calling her out for what she is and revealing to everyone that this whole world was the work of a great overseer. From there on out, Shadow became a guide and an elder to this team, to not only bolster a better leader and team, but use them to defeat Kairos, and travel back to his home world.

So scanning these pictures really kills the quality. Especially this one. The original looked much better.
Skipping over to the back actionway now, we see somewhat of an actionway view… although it seems like I accidentally framed half of it within the men’s department instead :P Not sure my reasoning behind that, but I don’t doubt I had one, haha! To get here we’ve passed the fitting rooms, which were in the back left corner.

Another angle of the Temple of the Great Jaguar taken on our excursion into the Guatemalan jungle a few weeks back. When we first walked into the main plaza that has been excavated the ominous rain clouds parted and the brilliant sunshine came through for a few fleeting moments. I might never see this amazing place again, but I felt so fortunate that the weather gave me such a perfect backdrop, even if only for a few minutes.
Germany, Düsseldorf, „Gehry buildings“ in the Düsseldorf media harbour. One of the ensemble of three buildings by the Canadia-US architect Frank Owen Gehry built in 1996/1998, he is world wide renown by his deconstructive architecture, which is like his fingerprint
Just as the old castle tower, only a few hundred yards downriver posted, the traditional & popular symbol of the former royal residence is & remains.
Gehry's harbor has become the most admired ensemble, most talked about & most photographed building in town. Curves, strange angles, distorted walls, protruding window frames, seemingly haphazard in the corrugated skin of the building. Different heights & levels, varying alignments & projections produce three solitaires that create the picture.
The uniqueness of each tower is determined by the choice of material for the outer skin very stressed. Smooth plastered the first tower in sheer white, but rather unspectacular addition to "Building B" is covered with the shiny silver stainless steel sheets. The curved surface can often reflected the sunlight again & flashed again. The third tower of the brick facade, which is on the bizarre architecture of a very modern look. The calculation of the load-bearing walls & floors was performed using a special architectural design program. The buildings seem so strange from the outside, functional & straightforward, the internal architecture. As many right angles are also & especially in the inclined external walls guarantee rational use.
Highly complex calculation & design were the nearly 1,600 windows in the three buildings. Gehry's idea, every window to put in a box to compensate for the different inclinations & angles, was brilliantly simple - but do not realize that simple. The variety of exterior walls required extremely detailed designs. It finally turned out, had 1531 individual window boxes designed, manufactured & installed. Long been controversial in Dusseldorf & in the growing media port, whose face they have a decisive impact. Advertising & media agencies in the Gehry buildings found their home, business consultants & designers work there door to door. With the Gehry buildings in Düsseldorf has "Mile of the creative & media" found its first milestone.

When I took this photo, I noticed the young woman on the right and the alignment of the 3 subjects perpendicular to the river. On closer inspection, I thought that this alignment was all the more interesting in that it could perhaps correspond, from youngest to oldest, to this woman's family circle: potentially, her youngest son, then the teenager, and finally her husband. This hypothetical link could explain the benevolent gaze that the 'mother' perhaps seems to be casting on them. The magic of street photography is that it will always retain its mystery, and at the same time open the door to all sorts of possible interpretations.
Sitting and watching as the sun climbs out of the Gulf of Mexico makes for a most excellent morning.
In Los Angeles, I also spent a day at the revamped Griffith Observatory. It is a very cool restoration. I highly recommend it.
Red Hot Pokers - Kniphofia Uvaria - growing wild on Tresco a small but very beautiful Isle off of The Scilly Isles UK. Compositionally there should be three or five for balance but nature gave me four!!
I stayed up all night last Friday night to try and capture the planet alignment. We chose our location near the windmills due to its perfect SE view and located up on the bluff above the Columbia gave us a nearly 180 degree view. While I could see Saturn up out of frame in the right hand corner my 24mm lens was not near wide enough to take it all in. We also could not see Mercury in the lower left hand corner due to too much light from the moon and the sun.
3799 (ET44C4 (Tier 4)), 967 (C44-9W), 7578 (ES44DC), 730 (Dash 9-44CW) lead a lengthy eastbound BNSF mixed train. 6558 (ES44C4), 8220 (ES44C4 (GE)) are also providing distributed power at the rear.
The train is seen here traversing the deep cuttings of the straighter 2011 alignment. The winding 1868 alignment is out of sight to the left.

No matter how many times I wake up at 5am and shoot the Golden Gate Bridge it never gets old. This view has shaped me in so many ways. A great place to reflect and think.
I had the pleasure of viewing the planetary alignment this week shortly after the sun set into Lake Michigan. In this photo I captured the Moon, three planets, and a few deep sky attractions using a wide angle 10mm lens . The reflection of Venus in the lake is also prominent.
