The Moon, Jupiter, and Venus beginning their alignment that happens only every 44 years. Took this shot in Granite Oklahoma. Kind of a happy accident, I was packing my camera into my car and looked up and there they were, I'm so glad I packed my tripod in my car that day. Created HDR using Photoshop with 2 different exposures -2EV & 0EV

Automatic vertical alignment for stereo photos is now working. Yay!

The curve is a smoothed array of votes for possible vertical alignments, derived from the corresponding edges in the left and right image. The output from the Canny edge detector is shown on the right.

It is important to get a alignment check or auto check before planning to travel.Safety and convenience lie with it.

After the welding, we check the dropouts are aligned properly. They need to be spaced the right distance for the hub (135mm), point exactly at each other and be centred relative to the head and seat tubes, these are spot on!

The dropouts were made a little concave during the bending of the tabs. Here, I'm checking and fixing it.

LOOSE alignment nut. Gee I'd say that produced a rattle that was driving me crazy.

A statuary in front of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in Brigus, Newfoundland, Canada. Adjacent is a convent formed of a group of nuns from Ireland. The Mission is aptly named "our Lady of Snow".

I nobly restrained myself from titling this shot, "I caught one thiiiissss big". Couldn't resist putting it in the comment, though. No sacriligious intentions, but the angle is suggestive of the humour.

After installing the new tires Les Schwab set the front end alignment to factory specifications. The alignment wasn't off but the wheel was not centered.

This was a rare opportunity to see Venus, Jupiter and the Moon sharing the western sky. I was planning on scraping this one because of the airplane trail but I liked how it pointed a line to the Moon and Jupiter.

The Shire Flickr Group at Como Park - 28 March 2009. Michael, Alison, Tony, Justin, Jason, Andrew, Stan and I met with 6 Nikons, 1 Sony & 1 Canon.

I love parallel lines, alignment and symmetry. Even Michael is facing East and perfectly aligned with the boats in this photo.
