Ils sont dix. Modernes et pour un temps limité- là est la méditation principale de l'artiste- s'alignent avec une certaine science sur leur très vieux frère, unique, fait de pierre naturelle.
C'est une oeuvre originale, audacieuse, malicieuse et judicieuse en même temps. Il fallait s'y atteler, d'autant que une femme l'a fait !
Elle a dressé comme les anciens peuples, des menhirs modernes dans ce champ perché sur la colline, et qui défient le paysage en lui-même un peu envoûtant de manière naturelle.
Il en est toujours ainsi des lieux de menhirs : pleins de mystère enveloppant, et de forces telluriques très prégnantes, qui apaisent les âmes sensibles, à l'écoute de ces choses-là.
C'est un haut lieu, planant et qui pourtant enracine dans le sol, plus encore, à la manière des monuments de pierres qui n'ont rien ou presque dévoilé d'eux à l'ère contemporaine. Millénaires ils sont, debout ils restent, lançant vers le ciel leur message secret.
Quelque part , ce sont des pierres sacrées qui semblent faire une prière, arrêtée dans le temps, mais qui traverse ce même temps.
C'est grand, fascinant, et cela ne laisse personne indifférent.
L'artiste, a mis tout autour de la pierre dressée, ses" modernes mégalithes" grises elles aussi, respectant de manière très subtile la forme du vrai monument, et son inclinaison, en la déclinant sous plusieurs tailles.
Sans casser l'harmonie du site, ni la majesté du modèle préhistorique qui y trône en veilleur solitaire, elle donne une idée assez géniale du rapport au temps qui est au-dessus, ô combien, du temps humain, mais qui a le temps de le ponctuer artistiquement et en beauté.
(On situe les menhirs dans les périodes allant de -4000 à -1500 avant Jésus Christ.

Visualizing the fragmentary nature of our digital lives, the "All-Aligned" project ask: what is a society in which we, as users of digital systems, identify ourselves with automatically generated symbols, a society whose identities are driven by algorithms? What does the standard repertoire of national symbols, such as the flag, motto, coat of arms and anthem, represent today, at the time of the proliferation of digital capital, the accelerated doubling of memetic fronts and the general inflation of meaning?
The core of the project is a custom made random flag generator for infinite identity building, a software system based on applied artificial intelligence (AI), named Fractal Nations.
Ideas and concepts (pirate, Balkan, libertarian, ecological, dark, etc.) are being mapped onto graphic elements (colors, layouts, symbols, new shapes, etc.). By generating flags, the system also generates an infinite number of micro-identities, which multiply in a fractal manner, dividing themselves ad infinitum.
The exhibition shows various visual outputs from the described software system, primarily flags, which are displayed as real, physical, cloth or silk flags, as prints on the gallery wall, and as part of an interactive site, exhibited in the gallery, which allows visitors to generate their personal, individual – truly individualistic – symbolic identity on the spot (and for that exact moment in time, because the very next moment their own flag would look different).

UROŠ KRČADINAC (b. 1984) is a Belgrade-based digital artist, technologist, writer, and educator. His transmedia practice involves computer programming, writing, designing, animating, and mapmaking. His research was published by IEEE scientific journals, his artworks presented at re:publica, Emily Car University, SASA Academy Gallery, Serbian Museum of Science and Technology, and many more. He received his PhD in Informatics from the University of Belgrade. Currently, he works as an Assistant Professor of Digital Art and Computing at the Faculty of Media and Communications in Belgrade.

"It is not enough to write a revolutionary poem" is an adapted version of the "Southern Constellations: Poetics of the Non-Aligned" exhibition that was first shown in the Museum of Modern Art, Ljubljana in 2019. The second edition was presented in the Asia Culture Center in Gwangju, South Korea in 2020. The exhibition in Rijeka is conceptualized in a different way as it happens on the occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of the first NAM conference in Belgrade. It focuses on the historical cases as a kind of introduction to the cultural politics of the non-aligned movement; projects and researches presented are related to the cultural exchanges and cultural programs between Yugoslavia and the non-aligned countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America. The exhibition also includes contemporary works that examine the relevance or the use of NAM’s ideas for today from the position that “it is not enough to write a revolutionary poem”.
