This is a combination of two images, the dewy web and a spider. The background image is courtesy of karen_and_mc. I was striving for a realistic effect . I picked a spider image that matched some of the background colors, assuming a real spider would have some natural camouflage. I also wanted an image that matched the color balance and source light orientation. Then I sized and oriented the spider so it aligned well with the hole in the web.

I spent the weekend working on the Z-Slide after getting it put together I mocked it up in the floor. The mock gantry makes a good work bench for laying things out because it is perfectly level in all directions. This is the first time I've actually been able to experience the scale of the router in real life. This thing is going to be huge. The metal rack is starting to look a little sparse. Since I ordered all of the aluminum for the machine at one time this gives me a good Idea on the progress I've made.

Carlstadt | Bastionstraße
The Gorres High School with a humanistic profile is one of the oldest in the German-speaking world and is located since 1906 in a listed building on Königsallee and Bastionstraße. Since 1947, it has the name "Gorres-Gymnasium" after high school teacher and Catholic publicist Joseph Gorres.
The Gorres-Gymnasium is aligned with its four-storey neo-baroque main façade to the north Bastionstraße.
This is the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, designed by Senenmut, and located outside of Luxor (site of the ancient Egyptian capital of Thebes) in Upper Egypt. Constructed during the reign of Queen Hatshepsut during the 18th Dynasty of the Ancient Egyptian New Kingdom between 1478 and 1458 BC. The temple complex was dedicated to the god Amun and Hatshepsut, and has three levels, and is aligned so that sunlight reaches the innermost chamber of the complex during the Winter Solstice sunrise each year. The structure is home to Hatshepsut’s burial chamber, a suncourt on the top level, three colonnades, and a chapel dedicated to Anubis, the Egyptian god of death, mummification, and embalming. The structure is considered to be the closest the Ancient Egyptians came to building Classical-style architecture like that of Rome and Greece. The structure contains many intact carvings and painted reliefs within, while the mortuary temple of Mentuhotep II sits in ruins nearby, having served as the inspiration and as a source of materials for the structure. The structure fell into disuse after Hatshepsut’s death in 1458BC, and eventually fell into ruins, with the lowermost level being partially buried by sand and debris that accumulated over almost 3400 years, while the uppermost level’s colonnade collapsed. In 1895, the ruins began to be excavated, and, over the course of about a century, the structure was partially restored by reconstituting the fallen stones and pieces back to their original locations, with the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw being responsible for much of the work.

The park consists of over 135 hectares (330 acres) of grassland and woodland and offers recreational walking, and some short climbs. With a maximum height of 248 metres (814 ft), it is the second highest point in Leicestershire after Bardon Hill,[1] although the OS map shows Birch Hill, which is near Copt Oak to be 254m.
An extinct volcano, in Whitwick, 4 miles (6 km) to the west, was responsible for the fine-grained igneous rocks that the hill consists of. Beacon Hill was the site of a Bronze Age hill fort. Today a toposcope indicates landmarks which can be seen from the summit. These include Lincoln Cathedral and the hills of the Peak District.
Ratcliffe-on-Soar Power Station is aligned so that, seen from the summit, only two of its eight cooling towers are visible.
On a clear day Belvoir Castle can be seen as well as the hills in the Peak District. Derby, Nottingham, and the tower of Lincoln Cathedral can be seen with a pair of binoculars. Loughborough is seen below the hill as is Beaumanor Hall. You can also hear and see steam trains on the Great Central Railway which has stations at Loughborough, Quorn and Woodhouse.
It was featured on the 2005 TV programme Seven Natural Wonders as one of the wonders of the Midlands. There are some very interesting rocks on the summit.
Nearby are two small woods both accessible to the public. Jubilee Wood is 2 miles (3 km) north-west of the lower Beacon hill car park on the Woodhouse Eaves to Nanpantan road and the Outwoods which is adjacent to Jubilee Wood.
The park has been awarded the Green Flag Award.
