A little bit of ['The Economics of the Street'](worldphoto.org/festivals-and-events/programmes/city-proje...) ............ I thought I would photograph a Flea Market where I was today in Greensville South Carolina .......... so I rolled up to the [White Horse Flea Market](www.whitehorsefleamarket.com/) .......... its was an amazingly busy thriving place with thousands of vendors ....... and with some very surprising things like award winning catering ........ the whole operation was on a truly grand scale ......... from quite big stalls and businesses selling big ticket items ..... to the tiniest one person set up often just a stall selling a few second hand clothes .......... but it was all amazingly friendly.......... This picture shows a great stall run by Yolanda Santoni who works full time during the week on another job but who runs this stall on Saturdays and Sundays......... I loved these aliens that she was selling....... Yours for 5-00 bucks :-))))) ............... :-))))))))))
If you are interested in attending a [workshop I am running in the UK 'The Economics of the Street'](worldphoto.org/festivals-and-events/programmes/city-proje...) ....... In Birmingham, Manchester and London titled the economics of the street......... let me know by email....... jez at jezblog.com :-)) or just click through on the advertisement below to the [World Photography Organization's site](worldphoto.org/festivals-and-events/programmes/city-proje...).

I was standing on the rock at Big Talbot Island where all the driftwood is, I have never walked out there for this perspective. After a few minutes, I realized it sort of looks like the terrain of another planet.
"Alien" (1979) is one of my all time favorite movies. I've been picking up the 7" NECA figures and I've started working with them here in the studio. I've been building a small "set" using black plastic wire piping and mini-copper LED lights and my new favorite stuff: Atmosphere Aerosol. I also picked up a set of to-scale Alien Eggs and the most recent image has those in it.
I love this, and I love the direction that it's heading in.

Majority of my alien minifigs. Not sure what I am going to do with them; they don't belong with the Futuron and space good guys, but not really with the Blacktrons either.
So the evening news was reporting on an impending alien invasion but unknown to the reporter, the invasion was very close to home...

The pharmacist said they were the vitamin D capsules, ordered by the doctor, but we know better. You can even see the alien embryos inside.

the alien world around my monitor captured with a Suprema KD-030CS toy digital camera. This key chain camera toy even has a 1.1" color preview screen. But when your battery dies or you remove it your images in the memory die. Uses a CR2 lithium cell which seems to last quite a while. www.halina.com.hk/KDC030CS.html
You knew it would happen, it just took a few weeks before the aliens would reproduce. Keep your eyes open, you never know where they will show up next.
Taken from my previously posted video, this shows the weird looking shape of today's solar prominence!

Got my Alien Bee B800 in today. After a bit of playing around with my new Pocket Wizard FlexTT5's, I was able to get the Hypersync working.
Here is a photo of the B800, that I used the light bounced from a large bounce card to illuminate itself.
I shot this with my Nikkor 24-70mm F/2.8 @ F/4.5 1/8000s. There was a little bit of banding, but with a minor crop, it is gone with a totally usable image in the end. The light was at 1/8 power as the alien bees have a slower flash duration as the power is reduced, to make Hypersync work better.
I found that with the B800's, the sync speed is slower at the lower power levels, so set at 1/8 power to have the best results with the least amount of banding.
Totally happy with the new strobes I got.
An alien had forgotten his passport near the Kauklahti train station yesterday. The stamps seem to be a Rigelian exit stamp (the orange blob) and Beta Centaurian entry stamp (the rather more organized blue stamp).
There are three things that worry me:
a) The stamp is about two meters across which leads to believe the alien in question is not very small.
b) The Beta Centaurians tend to be pretty bureaucratic. If their ANS (Alienation and Naturalization Service) decides to come after this guy for illegal exit, things can get hairy. BC border guards have a famously short temper and they pack some heavy firepower. It is widely suspected that the last such chase by BC border guards took place in 1908 in Tunguska.
c) If the previous image is a drawing of this guy, we are dealing with a large horny fugitive alien. That combination is usually trouble.
Got my case of Alien Reaction figures today from Super7 and they are pretty much note-perfect, resurrecting the toys that were declared dead at Kenner 34 years ago.
This guy would have been right at home with my Remco Universal Monsters figures. You've done a man's job, Frank.
The Dark Side of the Moon, MO, Round 1!
Neil Armstrong took a secret to his grave. No human knows, or will know, this secret. It tells the truth, and nothing but the truth, of The Dark Side of the Moon. It has remained unexplored since Armstrong’s day. And there is a reason for this. The Dark Side of the Moon…
Is inhabited!
by ALIENS!
They are, in fact, harvesting the moon’s natural recourse, which everyone knows, is a plentiful supply of cheese!
They have Genetically Modified the cheese to grow up, above the ground, like wheat, rather than having to dig them out of the ground like clay.
The cheese ‘stalks’ are cut manually by workers…
Then thrown up onto a conveyer belt, into a large transport truck.
This ‘truck’ has treads instead of tires, as the moon is a rocky, uneven surface.
Driven manually by aliens, the cheese can transport easily and quickly.
The cheese is taken to a pick-up zone, where they are picked up, and placed in a large spaceship, where they can be transferred to factories.
SAY CHEESE!
Guess how many head I used in the fields alone?
