This smiling face greets me in the bathroom each morning now. Chris and I call him "the alien." He is very friendly, but he does require some care. Luckily, Chris has a constantly regenerating supply of facial hair, our alien's favorite meal.

This was an HUGE advert space for the remastered Alien films. The beds are replica sleep pods from the film and people were invited inside to view a trailer for the restored films (they had a flat panel inside). The woman pictured here is handing out a cardboard cut-out of a facehugger. They're mounted to a stick so that fans could carry them around. Most stuck the stick down the back of the shirt making it look like a facehugger was hitching a ride on the back of their head.
This work, created by Duncan Rawlinson, delves into the exploration of latent space through a combination of photography and artificial intelligence imaging techniques. The piece features vibrant colors and abstract forms, capturing the essence of alien intelligence in a visually striking manner.
