Fast flowing pristine river
Location: Perak, Malaysia.
The Siamese algae-eater is a species of freshwater fish in the carp family, Cyprinidae. This bottom-dwelling tropical fish is found in mainland Southeast Asia, including the Chao Phraya and Mekong basins as well as the Malay Peninsula.
I bought a pet Marimo Ball Algae at the Night Market! It's supposed to bring me good luck. I think it's super cute.

This brown algae consists of a bunch of vines with leaves. Some leaves stick out, while the others are wrapped around each other.
The algae is approximately 50 meters long, and has a brown-yellow-greenish hue of color. It also seems to have rough and watery leaves, and the algae and it's leaves sway in response to the water.
This rock probably teems with activity when the Tide returns to protect it from the open air, which would be about an hour after this shot was taken.
Tripod mounted & polarised on Nolton Haven though I was genuinely concerned about getting cut off as I was way off in a corner of the beach to make sure I could capture the Sunset & couldn't clearly see an escape.

I don't remember which algae this is... But I like it.... I think it is on 400Xish magnification....
For fun one day I decided to take my camera to the near by pond & took a dip. It's only algae, right?

The Regent’s Canal at Camden Lock – covered in algae. I guess it’s a result of a hot summer.

Cecil is showing off some bold stripes as it browses among the reeds near the bank. I think it looks great with the algae shell top, maybe not for everyday grazing, but certainly for special occasions.
