I believe that World History is a reflection of the thoughts, actions and words, of Human Beings. Therefore, I have choosen to be a positive addition to History. And, I strive to live a non- violent(ahimsa) and empowering way of life. [However, I'm not a saint/far from perfect].

 

In June 2010, for my 13th Year, I will participate in an event to benefit the S.F. AIDS Foundation called AIDS LifeCycle. Each year, I cycle 575 miles (from S.F to L.A, CA.). And, I complete the ride knowing I did the right

I'm posing with Ginger Brewlay at the Artichoke stop. Ms Ginger is always there to help welcome and encourage cyclists during the 7 day ride. Note I have a Chihuahua Beannie Baby attached to the top of my helmet. It was given to me by my father-in-law.

This wonderful woman and her daughters decided to buy a couple hundred pies from a local baker and serve slices to the riders for free on the road into Santa Cruz. When I asked this young lady if i could take a picture of her in front of the stand, her grin practically split her head in two. Easily one of the most memorable moments of the trip and still just day one!

This the beginning of cutting sideways across the Central Valley. Wind blows down the valley north to south, and we were headed south so we had an awesome tailwind for most of the day. However, cutting across the valley was a different story - 20-25mph wind gusts the whole way. It was like riding through a wind tunnel sideways, you literally had to lean to the left while riding.
