It's pretty hilarious. On Day 3, they had a bike washing station at the end. The fixie guys were the only ones that cared enough. The rest of us just wanted a shower. Oh yeah, and beers across the street at the strip mall.

I had the Dutch Apple. It was phenomenal.

This is the second photo I have of this cyclist. He looks good in his red outfit.

How did he get that ice cream cart all the way out to camp? Genius

After the ride was cancelled on Day 6, they had to move all our bikes to the next campsite. The level of organization was kind of amazing. All bikes were parked in a section identified by a band name (which they did every day). Each bike had the owner's rider number on it - and also a barcode, which they scanned to create a giant spreadsheet telling you where you bike was. MAGIC!

I was in "Death Kennedy" on Day 7 - pretty sure they meant "Dead Kennedys". Oops.

Every year, Ginger is at the top of this and other hills wearing a fabulous outfit. The number of wellwishers and supporters lined up throughout the 500+ miles was very encouraging.
