When the summer fields are mown,
When the birds are fledged and flown,
And the dry leaves strew the path;
With the falling of the snow,
With the cawing of the crow,
Once again the fields we mow
And gather in the aftermath.
Not the sweet, new grass with flowers
Is this harvesting of ours;
Not the upland clover bloom;
But the rowen mixed with weeds,
Tangled tufts from marsh and meads,
Where the poppy drops its seeds
In the silence and the gloom.

Just about 2 more feet of snow dumped on us yet again.
Took a couple of hours to fish yesterday afternoon as the clouds cleared. The fish were cooperative. The clouds were low. The dew was still on the willows.

Here's a short BDN article on the fire - http://www.beloitdailynews.com/articles/2008/02/04/news/news06.txt
It looked like a war zone.... but this was the aftermath of the massive fireworks they launched to mark the official opening of the games.
10X6 Non traditional Digital Photo
For this second picture I used some of the ideas that I had, but it turned out differently then I had anticipated. This photo is supposed to depict a first persons of the end of the world, from a soldiers perspective. I chose this because I thought it good to depict what you would see in a dream, from your perspective. The background of the photo is one I took in Boston this weekend, and then I added my hands to that. From there I used textures, lighting effects, and a lot of color alteration to create the final photo. I then added rain from my example picture, however I only added it to the area of the building, because then it looks like it is reflected just like the building in the reflection. This shows just how much the mind can wander, and be on its own in a dream, because the rain does not even appear to be completely there, but fake. This photo really shows what you see in a dream, from the dreamers perspective.
The old, disused Methodist chapel on Lambert Street has burned down. Accident, malice or greed? Unknown (other than by the perpetrator) as of now.
Very little wind damage, no flooding. We came home to drinkable water, but no power for three days. This is actually a picture from the second day, where I had already removed the plywood from the windows.
Aftermath of the Festa das Latas 2007 in Coimbra, a drunken week of music, parties and ripping off your academic gowns, oh that I were young again!

Aftermath of an early morning single vehicle car accident in the New Vernon section of Harding Township, New Jersey.
March 4, 2012. At approximately 2:00am a white BMW sped through the intersection of Spring Valley Road and Dickson's Mill Road in New Vernon. The driver failed to slow down a 90-degree t-shaped intersection, knocking down an electric and telephone utility pole and then crashing through a steel guard rail. The automobile came to rest only about 10 feet from a private residence. No other details are yet available.
The day after the G20 riots, we walked around downtown to witness the aftermath. Most of the smashed windows were already boarded up, but a few were still visible.
Decided to make an aftermath to everything since the last one was a bit cliffhanger-y xD
