(Foto: Gustavo Kralj/Gaudiumpress)
this guy wears only his underpants because all of his belongings were washed out by the Typhoon Sendong
A day after the fire. Luckily enough, we managed to get the two horses there, away from the danger.
There wasn't much left to eat for them, though.
first time I've seen my ankle in a week. Lots of weird colours for now. Blackberry photos make me look like I've got cankles too.
and why/what happened? Rolled/ sprained my ankle about a year ago. Never quite got better. Turned out I'd broken part of a bone and one of the ligaments wasn't really attached any more. Had surgery to correct it - the scar is from the flap where they opened it up to remove the broken bits of one and cut/ reconnect the ligament.

This year at tailgate, we got a few of the school's favorite teachers and threw water balloons at them. This is the result. It was SO rewarding. xD

Photos taken of the damage caused by Hurricane Ike. This is a fairly raw photo set as I do not have power at home.

An amazing storm cell clearing in Big Lake, MN. Sunset, rainbow and heavy clouds. This is a 7 image panorama.
This is a wall and a roof blown into the streets all the power lines are dead so no worries about the ones on the ground. You did have to dodge a few hanging in the streets.
Aftermath of the Christmas Day storm at work, almost a month later. Many roofs around the area still covered in tarps. A tree went through the roof of this house, must have been a frightening experience.
This shot is an apt metaphor for all of NYC this week. Just like this car barely escaping disaster, most of NYC was spared the worst of Hurricane Irene.

Aftermath of an early morning single vehicle car accident in the New Vernon section of Harding Township, New Jersey.
March 4, 2012. At approximately 2:00am a white BMW sped through the intersection of Spring Valley Road and Dickson's Mill Road in New Vernon. The driver failed to slow down a 90-degree t-shaped intersection, knocking down an electric and telephone utility pole and then crashing through a steel guard rail. The automobile came to rest only about 10 feet from a private residence. No other details are yet available.

Entire streets were blocked by fallen trees. Vehicles have to find other way to go to their destination.
