One of the greatest motel losses in the Wildwoods was the Casa Bahama Motel in Wildwood Crest, succumbing in Jan. 2005, A-Frames, furniture, sign and all. Nobody was there. This winter shot (the plastic palm trees are wrapped tight) is from 1996.

This used to be a restaurant, now it's a used car lot. I tried to figure out what restaurant it was, with no luck. I know that Howard Johnson's had red roofs like this, but surely this is too small to be a Howard Johnson's. If you have any ideas, please let me know.

This is spencers Aframe. I have worked on it over a month. I remember as a child my brother had a green little people A frame house. he loved the tar out of that thing. I also remember him telling me how the bell on it drove my dad nuts. lol so one sunday when he was being quite annoying my dad cut the bell off the A frame house. Poor brother bear. LoL.
We use this A-frame and winch to lower the CTD, and in return the Ocean provides us with information about its physical properties. Kinda like magic.
