I'm afraid I didn't like the sake - but the local plum wine liqueur did very nicely on the rocks or on top of a pickled plum with soda.
Aki led us on a rapid tasting tour - sake followed by miso paste and then soy sauce - not surprisingly our palates were pretty befuddled.

"Sit still and close your eyes.
....
When love comes calling, don't look back. When love comes calling, don't look away."
Don't Look Back by Telepopmusik is a truly beautiful song. I highly recommend it.
Sometimes I feel like I'll never find love. I always end up pushing the ones I love away. Maybe I'm just scared. I can't be afraid of life forever.

Dropshort Marsh NR Toddington 12/11/2021
Hi Andy & Nancy
I am afraid I have not been on top of my monthly DSM checks this year, more on reporting to you than actually not visiting.
Well today I had an opportunity to visit in between the showers. All seems to be in good order. The cattle are gone at last but they seem to have done a good job on the sward that looks nicely trimmed. I can say that the two bottom marsh areas come in the "nicely tidied" category too. You and the team have done another amazing job. I am sorry that I missed attending on the day.
My photos of my walk around today are at

to
www.flickr.com/photos/pitzys_pyx/51675055950/in/dateposte... serious issues. I removed two ragwort plants in flower. At the bottom bend there are a few Blackthorn shrubs poking up. There are a few patches of bramble hear and there but not serious.Only wild lif noted were three types of fungi including a Golden Waxcap. See snaps.Time spent about 90 minutes including visit and completing report.Very best wishesJohn Pitts
Quanto maior é o numero de temores,
tanto menor é o desenvolvimento da mentalidade.
- o medo nasce sempre da ignorância.
