This is my baby, I told you about her a few weeks ago when I was taking pictures of Charlie. She's always been afraid of my camera, but since she was asleep she didn't care at all. :D I think I'm getting sick though which sucks. Stay away flu stay away!!

This assignment captures the parts of our environment that we take for granted. Living in a growing city like Bendigo means that the quiet, isolated places are valued by people looking for a break, or somewhere to relax. Many of these places have a quiet air, and are magical, because they remind us of places found only in books. In this photo essay I aim to explore this connection between the quiet magic in places found in our environment and the books we loved as children.

Im afraid I dont know anything about the sculptor or architect here but there are two things that strike me about this appart from the fact that the figures are slightly larger than life size.
The first is that the hands and details appear to be very finly done they are very lifelike.
the second is that the lion under neath is unusually for london a fierce Lion. ITs growling and for once doesnt have some sort of ring or bridal in his mouth
