Irish Doodles are a hybrid dog breed that was created by mixing a breed with a breed. Irish Doodles inherit a mix of genes from each of their parents that give them their unique and fun personality. This breed is very active, fun, and intelligent. However, they can also be very affectionate and love spending time with the people they care about. Since Poodles have a non-shedding coat, Irish Doodles are also hypoallergenic and rarely, if at all, shed. Irish Doodles are the result of an Irish Setter being bred with a Poodle.

All my animals are very affectionate but Squirty just goes beyond affectionate. He is the most 'in ya face' kinda cat i have ever owned and I mean that literally.
As a small kitten he was obsessed with my face and still is, he is getting better but at about 4am every morning he will lay on my face, around my neck, put his nose on my mouth anything to be really, really close to me.
If he get's tired and I am home in the middle of the day he will find me and paw at my face and give me head rubs until he is just too tired to stay awake any longer.
He is so darn cute and loveable. I have to say his affection has helped the hurt of losing Beaker.
In German known affectionately and simply as "Michel", the first Hauptkirche Sankt Michaelis (literally Head Church St. Michael) at this site was built between the late 1640s and 1660s. In 1750, that church was burnt down after a lightning strike. Construction of the second St. Michael's in the baroque style began within the same year and took 12 years. A wood tower addition was completed in 1786. In 1906, an accidental fire again completely destroyed this second St. Michael's.
Between 1906 and 1912, construction of the third St. Michael’s church took place. The old plans were used, this time utilising steel and concrete inside the remaining walls. Only the baptism font and offering box remained from 1763. This current St, Michael's suffered heavy damages during World War II, but was fully restored between 1947 and 1952.
Hauptkirche St. Michaelis is a purpose-built Protestant church, unlike many centuries-old European churches that were built and decorated as Roman Catholic but converted to Protestant during Reformation. It is considered one of the finest Hanseatic Protestant baroque churches. The spire tower is 132 m (433 feet) high and the viewing platform is open to the public (admission fee applies).

Affectionately known as Shrommpa, Art is an acclaimed poet, mushroom expert, and community mover in western Colorado. He’s on the board of the Telluride Institute and Talking Gourds, a central inspiration for the annual Telluride Mushroom Festival, and a friend of mine since 1976.
I found this 10” in diameter shelf mushroom on a dead cottonwood. It is the first time I’ve attempted to use an artist conk mushroom as a drawing/etching surface.

The Crown & Anchor Hotel, affectionately known as The Cranker, is a pub in Grenfell Street, Adelaide, South Australia, known for its longstanding live music scene. The current building was designed by noted colonial architect, former mayor of Adelaide, and parliamentarian Thomas English and built in 1879, but it was extensively remodelled and extended in 1928 to designs by Milne, Evans, and Russell.
In 2024 the pub was threatened with demolition and redevelopment into a tall residential building, with only the facade remaining. However, after extensive protests and intervention by the Premier of South Australia, Peter Malinauskas, the building was saved, and further legislation passed to protect other live music venues in the Adelaide city centre.
Not long after the establishment of the colony of South Australia and the city of Adelaide, in 1844 the Union Brewing & Malting Company began operations on Union Street, with the street being named after the brewery. It continued to operate until 1902. The Union Inn Arms Hotel (or just Union Inn) was built in 1847 on the site on the corner of Grenfell and Union Streets in Adelaide city centre, known as town acre 97.
A new building was built by 1853, when the Crown & Anchor Hotel was first licensed to sell alcohol. The hotel dug its own rock-lined well to use as a water source, and this is still in existence in the basement in May 2024, located in the north-east corner of the front bar, below the pool tables. On 28 March 1853 licensee James Ellery, who had for the previous six years hosted the Beresford Arms, announced his purchase of "Crown and Anchor, late the Union Inn, Grenfell-Street East", where "the extensive premises" would enable him to accommodate his old friends" and others, and that the premises included "good stabling and stockyards". From June of that year, a number of "select" balls were held at the inn.
In March 1879 it was reported that the Crown & Anchor, along with several other inns in Adelaide, had "insufficient or poor accommodation, and are also little or much out of repair: in need of repair". In August 1879, leading colonial architect Thomas English called for tenders to undertake the construction work to rebuild the hotel, and a new two-storey building was constructed to replace the former single-storey building later that year to English's designs, costing around £1,534. English & Soward advertised for tenders for stabling at the rear of the building in March 1880.
In October 1928, architects Milne, Evans, and Russell submitted their plans for extensions and alterations to the building.The work was completed in 1929, with the alterations costing £5,000.
In 1983, the interior was remodelled.
The design of the 1853 building designed by Thomas English is neo-classical style, with arched windows decorated by surrounding mouldings, and the facade is rendered. On the parapet above the corner entrance, it has a moulded crown and anchor insignia. However, the 1929 alterations were extensive, and included removal of many of the decorative features, as well as the addition of a long balcony along the Grenfell Street frontage.
There is a stone wall running northwards from Grenfell St along the boundary between Roxie's and Chateau Apollo, part of the original hotel stables that are listed on the hotel title.

Affectionately known as Paddy's Wigwam the Metropolitan Cathedral is one of the most iconic buildings in Liverpool. I still can't decide whether the exterior is as good as the interior. Either way: it is stunning. Hopefully, I can do it some justice. An amazing place.

31418, affectionately known as 'Boadicea' in its latter working life, enters the station with the 10.15 B'ham, New St - Norwich service.
It's good to know the loco is in the safe hands of A1A locomotive services and is currently being fully restored.
The station signal box here has served its term. Amazingly there were a further 4 boxes within less than a mile of the station!

Affectionately referred to as the ‘Downton of the North’, Gawthorpe Hall was redesigned in the 1850s by Sir Charles Barry, designer of the Houses of Parliament and the ‘real’ Downton Abbey, Highclere Castle.
The modest Hall houses the North West’s largest collection of portraits on loan from the National Portrait Gallery as well as The Gawthorpe Textiles Collection, a wonderful collection of intricate lace, embroidery and needlework amassed by Miss Rachel Kay-Shuttleworth.
Gawthorpe Hall is the final stop on ‘The Brontë Way’, a long distance route with strong associations with the writings of Charlotte Brontë and the family.
Lots of Cornish miners were coaxed to California Gold Country as the mining was industrialized. Unfortunately, it probably wasn't any safer here than England.
Loch Ness is a large, deep, freshwater loch in the Scottish Highlands extending for approximately 23 miles (37 km) southwest of Inverness. Loch Ness is best known for alleged sightings of the cryptozoological Loch Ness Monster, also known affectionately as "Nessie". Its water visibility is exceptionally low due to a high peat content in the surrounding soil.

Graflex Crown Graphic with 210mm Rodenstock Sironar on Green sensitive Xray film, developed in Rodinal 1:100 for ca. 6:00 minutes. I used a 3D printed lens board. It seems to be light tight, but I'll have to see if it is really UV proof.

Hartlepool United Football Club, affectionately known as "Pools," is a professional football club based in Hartlepool, County Durham, England. The club was founded in 1908 as The Hartlepools United Football & Athletic Club Company Ltd. They play their home games at Victoria Park, a stadium they've called home since their inception.

Trancoso - Bahia - Brasil
A “Igrejinha do Quadrado”, assim é conhecida e carinhosamente chamada por muitos visitantes e moradores de Trancoso – é uma Igreja Católica, tendo como seu padroeiro principal São João Batista. Esta Igreja tem suas origens nos séculos XVII/XVIII, feita de pedras de arrecifes e com um tipo de reboco comum nesta região, intitulado “reboco Santa Fé” composto de areia e óleo de baleia.
The "Igrejinha do Quadrado", as it is known and affectionately called by many visitors and residents of Trancoso – is a Catholic Church, having as its main patron saint St. John the Baptist. This church has its origins in the seventeenth/eighteenth centuries, made of reef stones and with a type of plaster common in this region, called "Santa Fe plaster" composed of sand and whale oil.

The Welsh Assembly Government (WAG) has invested substantially in the railways in Wales to improve services over the years. One example is the Holyhead to Cardiff service, affectionately known as the "WAG Train", hauled by a Class 67 locomotive. It departs Holyhead at 05:30, returning from Cardiff usually at 18:20. The service is run under contract to the Welsh Assembly Government and was introduced by Arriva Trains Wales in December 2008 to improve communications between North and South Wales. The train features first-class accommodation and a full dining car with travelling chef. Seen at Newport with 67002 at the rear of the train, it's always an impressive sight and heartening to see locomotive hauled passenger services still in operation.
Affectionately referred to by the locals as "The City", San Francisco is my favorite American city. This image is instantly recognizable as SF with the marine layer and pyramid, without the usual iconic landmarks so frequently photographed. via 500px ift.tt/2pLkhgE
We affectionately call this squirrel stumpy due to its shortened tail. We always recognize it as it works its way through the trees or along the fence. Haven't seen it for a while, so nice to get a good sighting! In our yard near Beaverton, Oregon.

On this particular day it had been a rather fruitless wildflower hunt early in the season along Caliente-Bodfish rd, however these guys were roadside and friendly and made the day!
The Norwegian Elkhound is believed to have originated back in the Viking days. This breed was used for hunting, herding, guarding & watching. The Norwegian Elkhound was first recognized by the AKC in 1930 and grouped as Hound. The Norwegian Elkhound is reliable and good with children. This breed is friendly, dependable and trustworthy but also alert & wary of strangers. They are intelligent and affectionate there fore will make a great family pet.
Built by Clement Studebaker from 1886-1889 and affectionately named "Tippecanoe Place", the mansion has forty rooms in 26,000 square feet. Clement lived here until his death in 1901. The mansion is now a quite elegant restaurant and my brother and I had lunch here on August 11, 2018 during our visit to the nearby Copshaholm Concours. Tippecanoe Place
