REI rain cover on my Osprey Aether Pack. The rain cover performed admirably, through some very heavy rain, and sustained rainy condidions.
A marvelously practical session about how to become a published author. Here with speakers Mosseveno Tenk and Emerson Lighthouse.

Came from a vision. Ether, the unseen and unmanifest binding force that contains everything. Acrylic and ink on cardboard.

Harbottle Park
At the heart of Byker, Harbottle Park is an important neighbourhood park with four unique gateways created by nationally-acclaimed artists.
Harbottle Park was redeveloped in 2010 with funding through Big Lottery and the local community was key to deciding how the park should be refurbished.
New flowers, trees and shrubs were planted to create a natural habitat for birds and wildlife. The park was given new play equipment and footpaths. There were also as improvements to the football pitches which are well used by local teams of all ages.
New gateways – designed by four nationally-acclaimed artists who worked with the local community – were also installed to create welcoming and interesting entrances to the park.
‘The Light Clock’ by Aether & Hemera Studio – an interactive lighting feature that signals the time using dynamic LED lighting, with the colours chosen by families from Byker.
‘Coloured Maze’ by Aether & Hemera Studio and Alan Vaughan – was created through workshops with young people. The steel structure casts shadows during the day and lights up at night to create an interesting and warm welcome to the park.
Play Area Feature by Alan Vaughan – incorporates the original cobbles from the back lanes of Tyneside streets and polished stainless steel etched with the names and ages of those who took part in the workshops.
‘The Crowd’ by Graeme Mitcheson tells the story of the strong sense of community and the love of football. The two stone columns have direct sight lines to St James’ Park and highlight the city’s passion for Newcastle United.

Papa Emeritus II - voce
Nameless Ghoul (Fire) - chitarra solista
Nameless Ghoul (Aether) - chitarra ritmica
Nameless Ghoul (Water) - basso
Nameless Ghoul (Air) - tastiere
Nameless Ghoul (Earth) - batteria

From The Hellfire Chronicles: Blood in the Skies by G. D. Falksen:
Boiler Smoke
Steam engines working day and night fill the sky with their heavy gray smoke. Steam power has been developed to an incredible degree, providing power for factories, automobiles, and airships alike. The gray-tinged sky is a testament to human ingenuity and the inexorable march of progress.
Aether
Little is known about the mysterious substance called “aether”, but it is a cornerstone of civilization. It powers wireless telegraphs, aids aircraft in navigation, and, rumor has it, can even control the mind of others. Academics debate the nature of aether endlessly, but to no avail. It is the eternal mystery, a phenomenon of nature like the clouds in the sky.
Burkhalter Green
The sheen on a raven’s wings. The patina that forms on weathered metal. Emerald eyes that stare from behind a steel mask. Burkhalter is all of these, and more. From the forests of his native St. Corbin to the tropical forests of the Badlands, Burkhalter stalks the world in search of revenge.
Talian Gold
The nation of Tali sits at the center of the Known World, and at the crossroads of international trade. Well is she called “Gilded Tali”, for her coffers overflow with gold. Tali is the heart of world commerce, wealthy beyond imagination.
