Dean Kathryn Boor adjusts her ice cream cap as she prepares to take part in a ceremonial ice cream scooping.

 

Around 200 people gathered in the Livestock Pavilion on May 9 to celebrate the start of the $105 million Stocking Hall renovation with a groundbreaking - or scooping - celebration.

After some advice from other members i've now adjusted the scale of the container.

 

I need to buy some more flats for the bottom of the container. I must say this looks alot bigger than i'd imagined but it's soo realistic. I can't wait to get working on the details now I have the size sorted.

I was asked to adjust this photo, but I must admit, the original was difficult to improve due to already being pretty much perfect. I softened it a tad, removed minor distractions and tightened the crop. I also adjusted the backdrop to have the sepia tint to it instead of the original green tint.

This tool lets you adjust the colours such as brightness, contrast, colour balance, etc. So for another experiment, I used 'Shadow/Highlight to create some blended look on my pieces.

"Department of Justice"

I decided to adjust the left hand portion curve now. I think I am going to try a different method for the waves in this inlay as well but we will see how it goes.

 

The tail, spine, and head will be made of Ebony, the Teeth with be of Mother of Pearl , the belly will be of Black Mother of Pearl, the eye will be of a ebony and a red wood (not sure what yet) and the sides of the body will be Snakewood.

 

(Remember it looks funny because it has no detail. It is an outline or plan drawing)

FR Adjustable Daylight Developing Tank, Bakelite (perhaps Daka-Ware?) these sound much better than i thought. would have made them differently. i used fiberglass coated with epoxy. forgot the brand of speakers but vintage and has cast aluminum frame. all the ribs inside make for great sound too.

something to do with all those orphaned developing tanks.

'All Eyes on Korea' saw the Korean Cultural Centre UK prepare numerous events as part of 'The Mayor's Thames Festival', in September 2010.

'The Mayor's Thames Festival' is London's largest free outdoor arts Festival. As part of this celebration, the Korean Cultural Centre prepared "All Eyes On Korea' in Jubilee Gardens under London's iconic London Eye.

Pop/Jazz Group Winterplay

Baramgot: A Traditional Korean Music Ensemble

 

The Festival also include a bibimbap tasting event, workshops with all of the performers, an introduction to Korean animation and a family event just across the river at the KCC.

 

The family event included story telling of traditional folk tales, Korean food and traditional games.
