King Felix is an electronic music group formed in 2011 in Los Angeles, California. King Felix produces and Djs a wide variety electronic music such as: bass music, electro-house, progressive house/trance, instrumental hip hop, glitch, dub-step, industrial, ambient, and experimental electronica

The live performances feature Dj sets incorporated with live instruments such as: analog synthesizers, pianos, vocoders, drums, bass guitars, vocals, guitars, and other virtual instruments. In addition, when King Felix performs they create their own animations/visuals to accompany the performance. King Felix states, "Nothing means more to us than our fans, we want them to just forget about their daily lives and have a good time when they go out to a show."

In November 2012 the group released a series of HD/VHS style music videos. King Felix created every element of the music and videos including animation, editing, music production and mastering. These videos have a vintage psychedelic ambiance as they were mixed down through a VHS player to give the videos a nostalgic flavor. The music video for King Felix's song "Touching Basses" alone has received over 300,000 views on YouTube as of 2013.

After the Flaglers death, Whitehall (The Flagler Museum) was sold to investors and an addition was built to the house. The building was opened in 1925 as the Whitehall Hotel.

There were fuchsias, in addition to hanging begonias (a few photos back), on the deck at Good Timber Bed & Breakfast in Garrett County, Maryland, where we stayed a few nights recently. Just a few miles away from the B&B is Swallow Falls State Park, with its four waterfalls (Maryland album); it is one of six state parks in Garrett County. Located in the Allegheny Mountains, Garrett County allowed us to escape the heat of the Richmond area for a few days.

This was seen on June 9,1984 when my father started covering 3 sides of the original shed built in the fall of 1970 the back side had an addition from the mid 1970's that was open in the back with no floor then in late 1986 to mid 1990 when he was in his manic state he added a floor and a back wall.with a small window and back door.

Then the last addition added in 1987 was a big screen house built over shipping pallets off the back with a big lopsided roof covering all of it then a wooden deck built in 1988 went around the whole place he passed away in Oct 1992 and in July 1994 I removed the screen house and in 2005 I replaced what was left of the deck with a paver block patio.

Starting in Feb 2017 I slowly renovated everything from the ground up finishing in Nov 2017.

Painting and markings:

The paint scheme for this Super Valkyrie was settled upon before I considered the S-FAST Pack addition: U.N. Spacy’s SVF-124 is authentic, as well as its unique camouflage paint scheme.

The latter is a special scheme for the lunar environment where the unit was originally formed and based, with all-black undersides, a high, wavy waterline and a light grey upper surface, plus some medium grey trim and a few colorful US Navy style markings and codes.

My core reference is a ‘naked’ bread-and-butter VF-1A of SVF-124 in Fighter mode, depicted as a profile in a VF-1 source book from SoftBank Publishing. The colors for the FAST Pack elements are guesstimates and personal interpretations, though, since I could not find any reference for their look in this unit.

As a side note, another, later SVF-124 aircraft in a similar design is included as an option in a limited edition 1:72 VF-22S kit from Hasegawa, which is backed by CG pics in a VF-22 source book from Softbank, too.

Furthermore, SVF-124 finds mention in a Japanese modeler magazine, where the aforementioned VF-22S kit was presented in 2008. So there must be something behind the ‘Moon Shooters’ squadron.

According to the Hasegawa VF-22S’s painting instructions, the underside becomes black and the upper surfaces are to be painted with FS36270 (with some darker fields on the VF-22, though, similar to the USAF F-15 counter-shaded air superiority scheme, just a tad darker).

Due to the 1:100 scale tininess of my VF-1, I alternatively went for Revell 75 (RAL 7039), which is lighter and also has a brownish hue, so that the resulting aircraft would not look too cold and murky, and not resemble an USAF aircraft.

All FAST Pack elements were painted in a uniform dark grey (Humbrol 32), while some subtle decorative trim on the upper surfaces, e.g. the canopy frame, an anti-glare panel and a stripe behind the cockpit and decoration trim on the wings’ upper surfaces, was added with Revell 77 (RAL 7012). Overall, colors are rather dull, but IMHO very effective in the “landscape” this machine is supposed to operate, and the few colorful markings stand out even more!

The cockpit interior was painted in a bluish grey, with reddish brown seat cushions (late 70ies style!), and the landing gear became all white. For some added detail I painted the wings’ leading edges in a mustard tone (Humbrol 225, Mid Stone).

The kit received some weathering (black ink wash, drybrushing on panels) and extra treatment of the panel lines – even though the FAST Pack elements hide a lot of surface or obscure view.

More color and individuality came with the markings. The standard decals like stencils or the U.N. Spacy insignia come from the kit’s and some other VF-1s’ OOB sheets.

Based on the SVF-124 VF-1 profile and taking the basic design a bit further, I used dull red USAF 45° digits for the 2nd flight leader’s “200” modex and the Apollo Base’s code “MA” on the dorsal boosters. Some discreet red trim was also applied to the FAST Packs – but only a little.

Since all of SVF-124’s aircraft are rumored to carry personal markings, including nose art and similar decorations, I tried to give this VF-1JS a personal note: the pin-up badges on the dorsal boosters come from a Peddinghouse decal sheet for Allied WWII tanks, placed on a silver roundel base. Unfortunately (and not visible before I applied them) the pin-up decal was not printed on a white basis, so that the contrast on the silver is not very strong, but I left it that way. Additionally, the tagline “You’re a$$ next, Jerry” (which IS printed in opaque white…?) was added next to the artwork – but it’s so tiny that you have to get really close to decipher it at all…

Finally, after some soot stains around the exhausts and some vernier nozzels with graphite, the kit received a coat of matt acrylic varnish.

Building this vintage VF-1 kit took a while and a lot of effort, but I like the result: with the S-FAST Pack, the elegant VF-1 turned into a massive space fighter hulk! The normal Super Valkyries already look very compact and purposeful, but this here is truly menacing. Especially when standing on its own feet/landing gear, with its nose-down stance and the small, original wheels, this thing reminds of a Space Shuttle that had just landed.

Good that I recently built a simple VF-1 fighter as a warm-up session. ARII’s kit #70 is not a pleasant build, rather a fight with the elements and coupled with a lot of compromises – if you want a Super Valkyrie Fighter in 1:100, the much more modern WAVE kit is IMHO the better option (and actually not much more pricey than this vintage collector’s item). But for the vintage feeling, this exotic model kit was just the right ticket, and it turned, despite many weaknesses and rather corny details, into an impressive fighter. Esp. the lunar camouflage scheme looks odd, but very unique and purposeful.

Adam was born to a multi-talented beauty queen Mother and a Father who, in addition to being a US Army Spy and a Counter-Intelligence Special Agent, was also a highly accomplished entrepreneur. Adam was taught at a young age that, in both life and business, loyalty is a requirement for success. He’s had the honor of working directly with his father in several of the family businesses. In fact, this is where he learned crucial entrepreneurial skills and honed his talents with international business strategies and venture capitalism.

Adam earned his Bachelors of Science Degree in International Business and Marketing from the University of Utah. He was hand-picked by the President of the University’s renowned School of Business to compete with dozens of other ambitious nationwide-graduates for the opportunity to secure a lucrative job within a prestigious Fortune 100 company.

Adam‘s hard work and creativity helped him land this job of a lifetime. He obtained incredible business experience there and spent years innovating, improving processes and setting sales records. Although this dream job in Traditional Corporate America was a fun challenge for him, and something he truly enjoyed mastering, Adam’s natural entrepreneurial spirit kept nudging him to do something more significant with his time and talents.

Since 2001, Adam has been involved in the Health and Wellness Industry as a successful Entrepreneur, Broker, Product Developer and Manufacturer of Cosmeceutical products. During his career, he has worked with some of the most recognizable Fortune 500 businesses along with many top international Network Marketing companies. Adam has consistently proven his unique ability to help his clients achieve their goals through creative Distribution-Channel Placement, innovative Product Development and custom Manufacturing. Adam currently owns three profitable businesses.

Admittedly, Adam was not initially a fan of Network Marketing. He did not understand the business model because it was new to him. However, once he learned that the REAL focus of Direct Sales is to help average people get a taste of entrepreneurialism --- with minimal risk and at a low cost --- Adam was absolutely convinced of the potential with Multi-Level Marketing.

Since joining the company as one of the original 11 founding distributors, Adam has discovered that many of his life-goals truly do align perfectly with Network Marketing. Adam enjoys helping others find significance. Adam is most grateful for the complete time-freedom he has with his fantastic wife and five children. It’s my pleasure to introduce you to Adam Paul Green, MXI Corp Ambassador and Multi-Millionaire Earner.

New addition to my vintage MACROSS collection - Takatoku's sofubi Destroid Spartan. These little vinyls are great! They usually look horribly deformed when you see pictures of them. But when you heat them and get them back into the shape they're supposed to be, you can see they're surprisingly nice and anime-accurate.

Now I only need the Tomahawk, VF-1S and small Max & Milia VF-1Js to complete my vinyl set. If anyone has any to trade, e-mail me! I've got a couple extras to offer.

The latest addition to the truro minibuses fleet is Mellor bodied Vario R998 WYE. Although been in the fleet a while not seen a pic of it. Seen here in the yard at Godolphin prepared for MOT awaiting test. Previously with Oakleys Plymouth.

Title is misleading as this was not a mistake at all; I intentionally shot this out of focus to see the extent of the bokeh effect.

1968 Porsche 911 Soft-Window Targa

Chassis No. 11880191

Engine No. 3281118

The Porsche 911S Soft Window Targa was a true example of innovation for the German manufacturer. As an unprecedented addition, the 911 offered the first soft window Targa top, which also benefited from a foldaway back window and removable roof section. The vast majority of the models were actually optioned with hard windows, making this particular example one of the rarest and most desirable Porsche 911s.

With recent sales at their all time record-breaking highs, early 911s have become extremely popular among enthusiasts and collectors everywhere. The 911’s thrilling drivability and rakish good looks has proved great success for the marquee, and will continue to remain a strong investment for many years to come.

This Car: According to the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, this rare Soft-Window Targa was completed at the factory on April 30, 1968, destined for US delivery. Originally finished in Irish Green over brown leatherette upholstery, the distinctive 911 was fully outfitted at the factory with the desirable 911 S instruments and oil tank, chrome wheels with Pirelli tires, headrests and a Blaupunkt “Frankfurt” radio.

Early service records dating back to 1977 indicate this car was a regularly used and cared for California car. It was eventually acquired by well-known Porsche enthusiast Frank Gallogly of Lime Rock, Connecticut. When it was discovered, the Targa was a beautifully maintained example wearing optional Fuchs wheels and classic blue and yellow California plates.

After some time with its new owner, the Porsche was sold to a Texas collector who had been searching for a well-kept early 911. Shortly after, it underwent a sympathetic restoration that aimed at making the car more presentable throughout, while taking care not to disturb its highly original character.

At this time, Autosport Designs Inc. of Huntington Station, New York, was commissioned to repaint the bodywork in the original Irish Green, an era-evoking shade that nicely compliments the of the short wheelbase 911. The engine and transmission were then rebuilt as needed to ensure that the car’s performance was in keeping with its freshened appearance.

Fortunately, the decision was made to retain the original upholstery, which displays a light consistent patina. The interior has a lovely period correct look, especially with the color-keyed Cocoa floor mats.

Since then, the Porsche has seen casual use and is poised for many more years of enjoyment. With a recent carburetor adjustments along with new plugs and wires, the car remains in excellent running and driving condition! The 911 ought to be an ideal companion for pleasant drives, the occasional Porsche gathering, rallies, slalom courses, and especially long-distance tours such as the Texas 1000, Northwest Passage, and Copperstate 1000 to name a few.

Not only is this a particularly rare and versatile 911, it is offered with owner’s manuals, tools, a substantial file of documentation and a Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche.

Combining the most enjoyable qualities of the early short-wheelbase 911 with a unique open-air experience, these Soft-Window Targas have earned a devoted following of Porsche enthusiasts. The example presented here exudes charm and represents an exciting opportunity to acquire a well-rounded 1960’s sports car.

In addition to an ugly City of London car pound and a disused and overgrown cemetery, this ramshackle playground was situated down the slope from our London hotel, the London Park. It was walled- and fenced-in, the fence lined with barbed wire along one stretch. We passed it every day for a week or more and never once saw a kid in it or any sign that it was actually being used. Which is odd because it looks like the kind of place that was cobbled together by some sort of neighborhood group. In fact, I don't think we ever saw an entrance to it.

www.stvincent.edu | the Pennsylvania Tourism Office, housed within the state Department of Community and Economic Development, paid homage to Pennsylvania native Fred Rogers and announced a Fred Rogers Trail, where travelers can zip up their cardigans and experience firsthand the neighborhoods that inspired the TV pioneer.

Marking the 50th anniversary of the popular children's show, Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, the Tourism Office worked with Fred Rogers Productions, the McFeely-Rogers Foundation, the Laurel Highlands Visitors Bureau, and VisitPittsburgh to create a unique experience inspired by Rogers. The new trail, the latest project of the Wolf Administration’s support of the state’s $40 billion tourism industry, features 15 destinations that share a connection to Fred Rogers and his beloved show.

The new Fred Rogers Trail is a three-day road trip that starts in Rogers’ hometown of Latrobe, which was recently featured in Smithsonian Magazines’ The 20 Best Small Towns to Visit in 2018, and ends in Pittsburgh, where Rogers filmed his show. The stops take travelers along the pathway of Rogers’ life, from his childhood through adulthood, and includes visits to see key artifacts, including set pieces from the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. Attractions on the trail include:

• Idlewild & SoakZone provides an opportunity for guests to take a trolley through Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood. Airing on PBS KIDS, the series is produced by Fred Rogers Productions and is inspired by the original Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.

• Fred Rogers Center at Saint Vincent College features recorded interviews with Fred, a look at his life "before the sweater," and other memorabilia.

• Fred Rogers Statue in James H. Rogers Park gives visitors an opportunity to take a selfie while sitting on the bench with a statue of Rogers.

• Latrobe High School houses a large display of items from Rogers’ school years and Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood production memorabilia.

• Latrobe Area Historical Society highlights the history of Latrobe, its heritage firsts, and famous citizens including Rogers and golf legend Arnold Palmer.

• Latrobe Presbyterian Church, was attended by Rogers and his family. A little-known fact, Rogers was an ordained Presbyterian minister.

• Unity Cemetery, Rogers’ place of burial.

• Latrobe Art Center offers Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood and Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood merchandise available for sale.

• Senator John Heinz History Center in downtown Pittsburgh is home to the largest collection of original items from the Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood television set.

• Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh’s 80,000 square foot space with hands-on exhibits is showcasing a new addition, the Fred Rogers & Us exhibit.

• Duquesne Incline offers an opportunity to ride a trolley. It was featured on Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.

• Tribute to Children monument is a 10-foot bronze statue of Rogers sitting down and tying his sneakers.

• WQED Studios is where you can take a selfie outside where Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood was filmed and produced by Family Communications, Inc.

• Pennsylvania Trolley Museum where Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood filmed the iconic episode, “Grandparents.”

• Buttermilk Falls, with an impressive 45-foot drop was owned by Rogers’ grandfather from 1931 to 1956 and was used as a family retreat; hiking trails and a picnic area are onsite.
