Born in the Ukraine in 1917 Milton Resnick was living in Brooklyn, New York by 1922. He enrolled at Pratt in 1931 though in commercial art. Like so many of his contemporaries he worked in the WPA and acquired further training at the Hans Hoffman School. After a stint in the army during World War 2 Paris became his new home for 3 years after the end of hostilities. See more work of this most important artist at:
