Space Needle through a sculpture at Volunteer Park, Seattle, WA. I came across this shot from 2016. Some time ago my friend Derek asked me for more Seattle pictures. Here you go D.
This beaver picked a prime piece of land for the view alone. It was quite active even with my intrusion, as was building winter food supply behind the lodge. This is now totally ice, a week later. Thanks for looking and may your weekend be bright!
A TINY BIRD, it is constantly active in search of small invertebrates, you have to consider yourself extremely fortunate if you discover them. Feeding bird sometimes come amazingly close to observers, but views like this typically last no more than a few seconds. My thanks to Steve Ashton, without him I doubt if I would have encountered them.

The Statue of Liberty is always a dramatic and imposing view on the New York City skyline. I used a slight monochrome and B/W blend to highlight her features.
A clump of primroses find a sunny spot among the undergrowth.

A morning scene in the Broekpolder, Vlaardingen.
The sheep are happily grazing in this amazing maze, which is part of a recently developed playground named Klauterwoud (roughly translates as "climbing forest").

I don't remember exactly where this was taken, except to say that it was on Key Biscayne, Florida, during a road trip last January. We only had time for a quick drive through the area, and I hopped out of the car for a shot as we were passing through.
